This movie took me a very long time to make, I worked really hard on it and it's finally finished... I'm not sure what you'll think of this, but I'm hoping it can at least touch one person that watches it... God bless... and no this movie doesn't pertain to my personal feelings, they may be similar, but not exactly clear...

Don't listen to haters

I know the gentleman/lady who posted before me was not being a jerk off, and instead only wanted to offer honest critisism, but still I would like to say this:

It may be teen angst, but being a teen is very hard, especially is your a sensitive person alreadly. Its not trite if its genuine.

Don't give up on girls if you had your heart broken before, sweetie. Your videos make me want to hug you... thats a sign that your art is very effective.

Nice girls get hurt so do nice guys but soon you'll learn to find a nice girl and not put your heart out there so easily. This may be alot to say considering I'm supposed to be commenting on the art not the artist, but your work/ the music moves me. :)

Nicely done yet again!

good song....needs some direction

First of all, your taste in music was the only thing that brought me to actually watching this movie. (At least you listen to a good band) Obviously you put some work into this, but the lacking part would have to be in the plot, or should I say the melowdramatic, overdramatised, cliche' story of teen angst. Insteasd of throwing in a skater doing ridiculously fake tricks (which I'm sure originated more from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, than any legitament skating experiences that you have ever had)you could have focused more on developing what led the main character to commit suicide.(teen angst really doesn't cut it)On a positive note, your animation style wasn't that bad, and you managed to cue up the video with the music well using scenery and symbolism.
By the way if you're going to throw in skate stuff, at least put in a realistic line, (say a nollieflip noseslide then a nollie backsideflip over a chain and into a bank) But I appreciate the effort, and keep making flash, and learning from your mistakes (I know I've made many before)

i can't help but notice you suggested a nollie backside flip over a chain into a bank... im pretty sure in Adrian Lopez's part on "Thrill of it all" he backside flips a chain in to a bank... and some of those tricks aren't impossible... i have landed some very huge tricks, heck if you wanna see IM me on aim sometime... my name is "Sk8r4Lyfe777" and also this movie is very old, if you wanna see a better one watch my more recent stuff like Escape or From Within.... and the skater didn't commit suicide, he just went crazy and tried a gap that he was almost sure he'd die trying.

this one really kicks ass!really really cool movie

it does'nt have much if u see it in graphics, it so simple, yet the simplicity made an impression of a really creative artist, it just proves that a nice movie does'nt need colors and fine drawings, one JUST HAVE to be UNIQUE, know what one wants to present and just do it anyway!!! this one is really great! not to mention heartbreaking ehheehehheheh nice job dude!

very moving

i have watched many of your movies and have enjoyed them all. i have began to notice a comman theme of losing some close or not getting a chance to show how much you mean to someone. i have been wondering if it has any personal ties to your life. although i doubt i'll get an answer t the question it is welcome. keep up the good work.

Affinitia responds:

Hello, in respose to your question i would definitely have to say yes... all of my serious movies have personal ties to my life in some way or another... like From Within, that resembles how i felt at one point in time, on the inside... i wish i could feel that good again... compared to how i feel now From Within was good... my life just sends me through so much, and then i make moveis about it, about dreams i have, and feelings i have. i would very much love to show how much someone means to me, but i fear she'll never underastand... anyway lets just say i am like an ocean of pain and love, and every emotion a person can feel... and my movies only skim the surface of my life, its like looking at the face of the ocean in my heart... if i went beyond the surface and showed how deep i am, i fear it would be in some ways too much for anyone to handle... maybe someday we'll go under the surface and i'll express what lies beneath...
