** Patch 2.3 - Really just bug fixes and general tuning. Nothing of specific note. (Patch 2.2 was made for Kongregate and therefor did not apply to NG).

** Patch 2.1 - Patch Notes can be found on my Userpage if you want the details of what was added and changed.

A note that the old game had that I left out here - This game is kinda hard on the framerate (my fault), especially when things are hectic onscreen. There is an FPS counter that you can turn on in the Options menu. If everything seems to be moving slow, check it. The game SHOULD be hovering around 30 frames a second. If you're dipping significantly or constantly, there are a couple things you can do: If it's mostly a problem when tons of things are happening onscreen all at once, you can turn down the Spawn Limit in the options menu. This will put a soft limit on the number of enemies on screen at once, and potentially help keep the game from bogging down to far. You can also (obviously) turn down the Quality a notch, as I've found this helps a lot. Just fiddle with things until you get the game running where you are comfortable with it.

Another note - If the sense of mystery and randomness is not your thing, and you want some guidance as to how to do and see everything (and advice on which Rewards to pick, to boot!) OmegaMario has composed a Guide for players based on his playing of the game. Keep in mind that this is full of **SPOILERS** (that's sorta the point, really) and I was not involved in it's creation - everything here he discovered and composed on his own. Bravo, I say!

Find it here: http://omegamario.newgrou

A brand new version of my previous game, Amorphous+ is a fast paced, hectic melee of multicolored blobs. Veterans of the older version will recognize the following new features:
*PAUSE* - omg, press spacebar
*Progress Saving* - Now with a sense of continuity and accomplishment!
*Awards* - Gain awards to mark your achievements as you play
*Rewards* - As you earn awards, you will unlock useful tools and abilities to help you survive
along with a number of little tweaks and additions.

The music is Still all by Revolution Void - which you can disable in the Options menu - but you shouldn't, because they're awesome.

Hope you enjoy it!

ProTip: You can just click through all the intro crap at the beginning to get to the game. You're welcome.

This might be the best game on Newgrounds

Oh yes. It just might be. I really can't express how much fun I've had with this game. Honestly though, I have no idea how to beat Grays and Void Eaters. There may be others I can't beat I still haven't seen two types yet ha ha. But seriously I've taken just Grays into practice and whacked away at them for so long, trying as many timing possibilities as I can think of. I guess I really don't know the time to strike. And in real gameplay, the only time I ever see them they turn into Void Eaters before I can do anything with them. I have killed a Void Eater once, but I don't know how I did it ha ha. Anyway, this really is beyond a great game. It might even be perfect. All I know is I love the poop out of it, I look forward to your next game.

Thank you so much! I don't think it's perfect (I can think of a few things I could do to improve it right now) but I do think it came out very well and I'm flattered that you enjoyed it that much.

Awesome game!

At first I just played this game as a way to kill some time. But then I realized the true depth of it. This game is truly awesome. The awards/rewards system is executed very well and I like the X360 sounds. Very addicting and very fun.

Needs a minor adjustment

First of all, congratulations on the daily feature, you really deserve it. This is an awesome game! It's simple to play, but still requires advanced tactics to survive.

The awards system is awesome, but a little too overwhelming perhaps. There's a ton of awards you can get, but quite frankly, I think it's impossible to get them all! The horror gloople is quite hard to beat. The queen requires luck to beat, but I can't see how anyone could possibly beat the Razor Queen, it's just too damn hard.

The music itself it awesome, but not very fitting for this game. It's too relaxed. Perhaps a variety of artists and different songs would work better for this game.

All in all, you did an amazing job here. You've created a fun and very addicting game. But due to the (impossible) difficulty of some glooples and (in my opinion) not very fitting music, I can't give you a 10. So here's a 9/10 and 5/5 for you!

Thank you (almost a week late... *cough*) for your support!

Also all this jive about the Award system being too overwhelming tickles me a bit now that I KNOW you've gotten them all. Ah, sweet irony.

As I have said many times, the Music is one of the biggest contraversies about this game (sadly most people on the "it doesn't work side", but I just can't bring myself to agree). As I think I've said before, I feel it brings forward the notes of silliness and absurdity in this game. I do however think that your idea for a bigger variety of artists is a good one. I shall have to do that next time I do a project with this kind of jukebox.

Thanks a ton for your continued interest (and congrats again on earning everything) in the game, and for your great comments here!

Various Comments

I think it's a good sign of your game's addictiveness that I had trouble earning the absentee award. I told myself I'd play 2 minutes (my reasoning for why to do this is questionable) before pausing. I did end up earning that award, a day after first planning to do so.

I found some of the reward comments rather humorous. When I decided to earn the armor piercing award, the comment in that award was far too true. The same goes for the awesome combo award.

I have a mouse, but I tend to play this game using a touchpad. It's really not that bad. Now, a trackpoint would be just plain awful.

Thanks for your comments, I'm glad you enjoyed the Awards. They reflect my inner snarkiness. Also my outer snarkiness.

I don't know what it is by touchpads and I don't get along. And trackballs, don't get me started. I somehow become an idiot the moment I even enter the same room as a trackball. Their use eludes me on some primal level.

Thank you again for the comments!
