EDIT: So I forgot to take note of how sensitive ng was to terms like "parody" and "tribute"...I guess this is more of a tribute towards Contra so ignore the so-called incorrect term of parody stuck onto the title screen. -.-

My review
Pretty cool. Here are my thoughts.
1 I like the intro
2 The ending was pretty awesome too
3 Needs more Contra: No game over song, in Contra it has no melee. I don't remember the boss at the end in Contra

I was pretty impressed,now a days i'm not too thrilled or impressed with many stick flashes but this one really caught my eye mainly due to it was based on Contra and there isn't quite enough Contra flashes here on Newgrounds and not only was the action great but the background and overall animation was excellent,great stuff.
