WATCH THE FLASH BEFORE READING REVIEWS. Some give stuff in it away.

A flash short that I thought was a good idea ages ago. A sane person might want to drop a project that is this dated. But no, I decide to pick it up again! A huge chunk of it is old. There are a lot of things I'm not happy with but I feel this was the best I could do without deciding to give up on it. Batman Joker Harley quinn © DC WB blah blah.

I improved a lot since and I can do better now and this isn't a good example of that. However, I'm totally burnt out from all the effort I put into it whether it looks like that or not. So don't expect anything "better" from me to come to pass anytime soon or even in the distant future, if it ever does. I need a lot of time away right now. I just feel too discouraged here, if you haven't noticed, to think about working too hard on anything at the moment, knowing what will ultimately happen to it here when it is submitted.

I will probably go back to making more cheap and simpler flash if anything, I don't know. I think that this will do just the same as those.

My thoughts are in greater details in my author's news which I will be updating in a few days. But in short, this has nothing to do with the new Batman dark knight movie. I have not seen that movie and any similarities is merely coincidental. Yes, even the Joker's dialog at the very end. So please try not to be a dick and keep all this in mind when you comment. I'm sort of on the edge right now. If I worked on this another week I'd need a rubber room in Arkham. Making this was a total pain in the Aahhahehehhhah HAH EHA HEHE HE HHEHE HEHEHHHHAH AHAHHHA HOHO HAHAHAAAA!!!1

I liked it, but I dont think using the owner of newgrounds as a victim in a video is the brightest idea. ill give you 5 stars for the plot 2 for the animation and 1 because i idolize the joker. :}

Author's Response:

Why do you think he would care? I think it would be awesome if someone made a movie where I was shredded up into kibble. Sometimes it's all about taking things in stride and having a sense of humor. Thanks for reviewing--- But now you have to turn in your Joker fan membership card !

It's refreshing to see the bad guy win sometimes.

"Hahaha!"

The meatgrinder again huh? It's from an episode from "Batman: The Animated Series" called "almost got 'im" and the fat guy talking is from the first time Harley Quinn ever appeared in the Batman and DC universe in an episode called, "Joker's Favor"

Author's Response:

Bravo! No one I talked to about this recognized the Charles Collins guy and I even got an angry comment saying that the meat grinder wasn't the Joker's "style". Haa. Sadly, the review was removed by a mod. I kind of like when stuff like that stays. Some stupidity should be preserved for posterity.

Well. Good job! It's nice to know btas is still fresh in some brains. I guess with it being off the air for so long it's understandable that it's not. Whatever happened to cable stations it would be on like cartoon network? I hear it's for reality TV now. Ehhh.

"Good movie,bad Joker"

date: August 21, 2009

The movie style is great! Love your art! And you kept the humor of Joker and Harley! But Joker doesn't look good...I prefer the one from the Animated Series :D But that's just my opinion...btw,the Looney Tunes theme in the end was BRIIIILLIANT!!!!!!! :D
Oh and bye bye Tom Fulp lolz xD

Author's Response:

It would have probably been easier if I gave it a more animated series feel. BUT as much as Bruce Timm's stuff grows on you, I wanted to go a more comic bookish route for this. I was trying to get some drawing practice as well and every little bit helps. I even tried to give Harley smaller eyes and mouth so she doesn't seem too much out of place with Joker.

That almost never looks right. You can take the Harley out of BTAS but you can't take the BTAS out of Harley. She really is a cartoon. But I'm glad I didn't do a 100% BTAS thing, for the sake of novelty. I imitated the voices from it because I feel it's umm... "definitive." Which is why Mark Hamilll and Kevin Conroy are still playing those characters today. That's just the voice, just as I feel Brian Bolland 's Joker is the definitive Joker. It really kicks the crap out of Timm's. Sorry but it's true. It's also VERY hard to animate of course since it's a very detailed design not a simplified cartoony one. And That's what I was attempting. So there you go!

Thanks for the attention! !!!

"Steller"

date: February 18, 2009

Steller animation! The Jokers accent was great and the whole thing played out very much like an evil episode of batman. Great job. Oh, and killing Tom, damn, that was ballsy!

Also, yeah, I think most people would agree that the Bush administration had something to do with 9/11. Alot of something.

Author's Response:

Woah! WOAH Woaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh. I'm not EbolaWorld.

That reference to GW was an in joke to my Loose Change flash. I would not seriously accuse anyone for something like that. There is not really enough coherent evidence and what there is, is mostly laughable.

Conspiracy theory paranoia aside, even if I did believe it, it would not be funny to me anyway. I like light hearted stuff without trying to force people into thinking a certain way.

I prefer to make you laugh not pushing politics or ridiculing ones (ethical) beliefs. Would I be surprised to find in the future, that the security on 911 was Pearl harbor-esque and botched on purpose? No. I am cynical enough but I would not find the idea to be humorous.

See I can believe in incompetence more then I can believe in some kind of Machiavellian conspiracy.

I mean, you can take a message of mine and believe it if you want to. That's nice. So long as you get that message right. I do tend to leave some now and again.

It was just me taking a shot at conspiracy theorist that go overboard and are easily mislead by what they read and watch. I think the character I chose to personify that fit the bill rather nicely.

Thanks for the review though. I wish it was mentioned on my Ducktales movie instead. I know sometimes you can't tell if someone is being serious or not.

Ummm Sorry about all the text. It really serves no place as a response to your review but I wanted to be clear-- I hope I explained that well enough! Wish I could have done it with less words!
