Welcome to Music Flair, version one with three tracks. This features Everyday combat by lostprophets, Cannon rock by Jeong-Hyun Lim and Wake me up when september ends by Green Day.

Aim of the game is to capture all the blue shapes, leaving the red ones as they harm your multiplier. The yellow ones increase your multiplier.

In versions to come, expect more songs from newgrounds users, high score boards and more!

"bad choice of music."

date: January 15, 2009

compared to Music Catch, this is unbelieveably disappointing.
there is no orininality in your work, nor creativity. Basically, you've used your effort to copy off a successful game.
The reason why the Music Catch was successful was because it was kind of a game that goes really great with soothing and inspirational music, not some rock, pop and... rock.

the only thing good here was the avaliablity of the music. This flash gave me choice to pick.
Regardless of the music choice, the shapes weren't being produced according to the music. whenever the music had strong accents and dynamics in some places, the circle continously produced the shapes in a repetitive manner. also, it's kinda hard to get the shapes when the shapes only come out by half a inch from the circle. Production pattern was to recognizable, and it was disappointing to see.

Liked to see that the songs were in incredible quality. nicely done by putting exit button on the top which abled me to choose another song whenever the song was getting boring.

Overall: it all gets too repetitive, the only thing i have done was to circle around the shape-producing circle to get the shapes. also, the way the shapes come out is just plain too simple. the choice of songs doesn't seem to fit this kind of game, because this is suppose to be relaxing and easy-to-play game, and the relaxing and easy-to-listen song from the Music Catch was able to combine with the game really well.
try different approach of music/tempo games. originality is what really lacks here.

ok, even though this is a total spoof off of that other music game (cannot think of the name right now) its still decent. But, the other game was beautiful and had very high quality audio that was extremely soothing. Thats what made the other game a huge success. Your game needs some work before it meets that.
