I really liked the game, however the mouse issue was a problem. Anytime I moved the mouse off screen it paused. I think the simplest way to fix this would be add an in game cursor, like a red dot or crosshairs, so I can keep an eye on my cursor. Also, the invisible mouse really hurt me when I got that flying pickup as my paddle would fly across the screen and miss the ball.

whenever i moved the mouse out of the game screen the game stopped, that got realy annoying later on
