Planet of the apes parody flash. The graphics look colorful and detailed. Gameplay was all about making choices and some of them just lead to an ending. It would work better if there was a way to restart a bad decision you picked.

It was the Fall of 2000. I had joined Newgrounds to lend my graphic design skills to the website: I created the new tank logo, most of the fist level icons, and the older bitmap style icons that are sprinkled around the site.
Tom Fulp and I thought that a parody of "Planet of the Apes" was needed, especially because we heard Tim Burton was doing a re-make of the film. So, "HighSchool of the Apes" was born!
I didn't have much experience with Flash, so once I had finished the art stuff I tried to soak in all Tom's Flash knowledge. The result was this choose-your-own-adventure game that I hope you enjoy!

good 2002 was so long ago but still so good.
I remember playing this game way back during the day. I love the different paths you can take and some of the decisions you make end with hilarious results. Like when you choose to snort the jello through your nose and it states that may have been cool in kindergarten but not in high school. But as a human myself I wouldn’t want to date the Orangutan girl, that’s just gross! Those days were happier times.
I honestly loved this game... too bad there was never a sequel game (I would have liked to see how far you could go with a look or at least an alternative ending to ending with the human, no offense but How much do you spend the whole game the end becomes a bit repetitive but hey it's a game from 2002 that would be asking too much)
