"Still only experimenting"

And that is the only real problem. There isn't anything that makes it more than the result of some flash experimenting with someone's music added to it. Making it may have helped you become better at flash, but it's ability to entertain those you show it to aren't so good.
There isn't much of a story. The visuals don't seem to sync with the music enough for it to enhance the music's effect.
About the only thing going for it is coolness, and even then, the simplistic graphics brought it back down.
So things you could do to this flash if you want it to be more entertaining.
1. Tell a better story with it. Give it a better plot. Giving your guy a reason to be running/climbing/sliding would be a good start.
2. Start with the music, edit the flash so that the visuals fit it better. Get it to where you can accurately guess which part of the song you are at just by seeing the visuals for a short amount of time.
3. Improve the graphics.
4. Have the character do something that looks cooler.
