I love the concept and found it fun to play.
My main gripe is the lack of a definite score.
I don't just want to be told, 'you did alright' or 'you did not do very good' . I want to know that I got 3, 7 or 11 points so I can have something definite to aim for. With that one change, I'd definitely find myself likely to play for longer.
The concept isn't original, but I've not seen it executed this simply & well before, so good job.
I noticed a little 'pop' when one of the channels (left or right) stopped playing and that made it a lot easier to notice when I'd passed beyond the object.
The sound never really told me how far the object was from me - althouth the sound obviously changed when I was passing from one side to the other, it didn't audibly get louder when I moved closer, as I think it should have.
I think you should also mention that we use keys in the instructions. I know you already do this in your commets, but I like the idea of necessary instructions being contained in-game. At first, I was eager to play and used my mouse to no avail...
Lastly, I think you should maybe tell us how many lives are left after we miss an object - specially if there's only one. Saying 'last life' wouldn't take too much time...
Anyways, it was great using a new set of skills and I'd love to play a version even with only the change that it tells us our score.

Author's Response:
Yea, normally I would have had it tell you your exact score, but how would I do that with audio? That would require writing some text-to-speech software in Flash, which is really hard and doesn't seem worth it just to tell you your score.
