Oringinal, but...

The idea is quite interesting and original, but it just didnt work for me.

When I used a lot of strategy, trying to keep visibility as low as possible, increasing resistance and transmission, everyone closed their borders and never opened again. I got stuck within a few places worldwide.
The other time I started the game, didnt do a single thing and went away. I got back a few hours later and the disease has spread worldwide, without any resistances or transmission traits! WT...!?!?

there is no strategy for this game

If a disease has no visibility, why would the whole world start shutting down their borders? Once borders are closed, they never reopen, so basically once there is any single country that is uninfected and has its borders, airports and shipyards closed, you have lost the game. You can't win. Stop playing. It's all just luck whether or not you get the difficult regions such as madagascar infected early. This is not strategy. Though the game is complex and detailed, the gameplay element is fundamentally broken by this crapshoot aspect. I didn't come here to play dice, I want to win through brainpower and foresight.

Nothing but a waiting game.

I wanted to love this game. Create a disease and kill off entire chunks of the world population! What's not to love?

The gameplay.

It's entirely possible to spread the disease everywhere by simply choosing the symptom "Fever" and leaving the computer. Come back in about 10 minutes and you'll have massive amounts of evolution points. Then just buy whatever you want.

And what's worst of all is this may be the ONLY way to win the game. Once the dissease spreads to other countries it's noticed, and you don't receive any more points because countries lock down their borders.
