I was disappointed...

I wrote a guide for the first Pandemic and I tried using the same strategy here. Now for all those who might say, "It's a different game!", the guide works on logic.
By lowering down the visibilty to zero and increasing the infectivity, the virus should spread everywhere without being seen. I kinda noticed that the bars weren't really working if you turned off the symptoms. Anyway, I waited patiently to gather resistances and infectivity and midway, I saw that the virus began to spread as usual, but now the countries were finding a virus that had no negative effects or caused deaths. I found it weird that they were burning bodies that I haven't killed and by some strange reason, the entire world wanted to create a vaccine that didn't do anything.

It just doesn't make sense. I liked the concept, music, and deep gameplay, but you can't really have strategy if things are illogical. If things ran like the first Pandemic, maybe infecting Madagascar would be easier.

Great game, but could use more depth

I thought that the game was very nicely done, but I had a fairly hard time really getting into it after a while. Some tips: Include a walkthrough in the game and not in another browser would be somewhat nice, maybe a change of music aswell? The loop does get a bit tiring.

Some other things: Making it a little more apparent how to get Evolution points would be nice to add another much needed layer of strategy, and making the game a bit more user friendly would help alot.

But overall, it's a pretty good game that's good for a little romp.

Fun, but too challenging

The game is very fun, but the problem is that it's very easy to lose very early in the game. If a governer decides to close down their shipyards and airports, you've lost. If you just made it so that at some point shipyards and airports could open again, then the game would be awesome. As it is, it's almost impossible to win--I give it a 6 out of 10.

Solid 6 Stars

On first impression, a good game (albeit it takes forever :P), but it seems too difficult to get needs improvments before I'd be willing to rate any higher.
