This is just a simple little pong tutorial that if followed correctly can work perfectly

and a just a little tip: turn your FPS up to about 60 for non laggy gameplay

It shows, ( Not Teaches) how to make pong. If there was anything learned in that, you should be able to take skills used in creating this and apply them to another project. But, it does do what you said it would, so you pass on honesty, but try to teach instead of give out answers next time.

For games or complicated apps, code goes in frame 1 of the main timeline. Don't start putting code in movieclips or you will develop bad habits.

the game itself wasnt too good... i have made pong before just to waste time and i know there is a way to make the "cpu" follow the ball and actually play also the text on the bottom is a wall u need to make it so u can go through it ... so ya...

it was a well laid out tutorial but when i made the game as you said is did not work. i am blaming myself for this as a am a kid and this is the first time i have used flash though so it would be unfair to give you a low mark because i screwed up. i have managed to make a 2 player version but cant get the AI to work. anyhoo nice tut :)
