Where's Mickey? is a throwback to 8 bit style platformers. It features sprite graphics, catchy music and simple gameplay. There is a very loose story element in the game. Where's Mickey? has 6 levels and 2 boss battles. I wrote all the music.

It was okay for your first attempt at making a platformer game, Krad. But, I can't believe that I waited so long for this game to come out only to find it to be a disappointment. Looking from a general perspective, the game needs a LOT of work. For instance, the graphics were WAAAAYY too simplistic and were a lot less detailed than I imagined they would be. Also, I found the jumping physics to be too sensitive and jerky. Finally, I would have found the game to be more enjoyable if it had more features, like power- ups, more enemies, power ups, a score, a set number of lives, and more cheery music without the 8-bit touch to the sound. It makes me wonder just how much time you actually spent working on this game. If I were you, I would update a lot of features and re-post this game, but that's just my opinion. However, despite these things, I commend you for the effort you made towards making this game a reality!!!

oh god, where to start.....first of all you need smother jump animation, it was like - jump..in 3...2...1...FALLDEAD. it was very frustrating, i also managed to complete half a level by just holding down the left and up button. The boss, the rod or whatever. It would help if he actualy did anything instead of just pointing his large rod (must be compensating for something) in the horizontaly or verticly and firing at the air. I also thought it was a total mario rip off, you tried to re create the epicness, but failed epicly.also, the last boss, "butch" (MOAR LIKE, BITCH AMIRITE!?) when he started just falling to the ground you didint even have enough time to get the fuck out the way...sorry dude but it was baddd (N)

the people below obviously didn't bother to read the Author Comments.
the jumping animation isn't supposed to be smooth.
8-bit animation, people, it was INTENDED to be a one-hit-you're-dead system
I for one, liked it

kid-dude, said that the game should allow people to jump AFTER the leave the platform, what the hell is natural about that?

"Good effort"

Needs a smoother jump animation and a bit more lag before the player falls, ie allow them to jump just after they have left a platform, it makes it feel a lot more natural.

Ways to improve:
-Make the jumping more controllable, and don't make the character jump up and down a million time if you hold it down.
-Give the character some form of HP instead of just dying and restarting
