This was easily one of my favorite submissions I saw in the collab. Glad it was near the beginning!
Anyhow, obviously the "Metal" Gear Solid joke was plenty enough to base the whole flash off of. I never would have thought of that and I really like how he had his face painted like the Dethklok members. Great job, once again!

Evreone that watched the Metal gear collab know about it u shouldnt take your parft of the collab and sumbit it as animation again its a good aniamtion but a lot of people already seen it so for me l have to say that was a dump idea sumbiting it.Not on the metal gear collab afcorse.

pretty nice... good artwork and animation and i like the thought of an axe-murdering solid snake... maybe a bit longer next time (pretty please...)

The funniest part to me is when colonel says "Snake, move in on the base!" and Snake just goes "YES!" in the creepy, gravelly, Rob Zombie-ish voice. I snicker EVERY time I see it. :3 funny stuff, was thrilled to see this in the MGS collab. Cool animation, and a good joke too.
Being posted separately from the collaboration seems to dither its charm a great deal. Also, it just comes off as someone trying to get another credit in their video count.
Regardless, it was one of the skits I found very enjoyable. I just wish there was more to this stand-alone version (like, a director's cut) to make it feel necessary to post twice.
It ideally portrays an aspect of today's youth in which music shapes society. Brilliant.
that was very funny, a little quick but still funny. the situation is a kind of similar to being overseas. waiting and waiting until finally you go crazy and take things a little too far. good job

But one thing, not about this flash, is that InfernoX880 is wrong. I myself hear metal all the time, but I'm still the most calm guy in my class and in general.
Only people who are a bit crazy go nuts due to music. :P

brillant, and i did notice that guy ferno (or what ever your name is, i can't be assed looking again), the guy who answer to u is right, in terms of anything music is only something we listen to, and not get shaped by, i listen to music that i think is good (so i don't listen to rap, metal or whatever like some zealot). and i personally listen to music to calm me down when i'm in a rage (bar a few tunes that do nothing for it like eminems the way i am and disturbed meaning of life) so i don't see why you had to think music shapes us, or are you some parent who wishs to ban anything that could actually be better than you!
yes ive seen it in the collab aswell and liked it then aswell, nice animations and nice idea, keep it up and dimmu ftw (and no con818, it aint gothic metal)

You say you released this to give credit to everyone involved, but you're on the only person listed as author here. Surely submitting this JUST to name a voice actor and the writer as well as an edit of a song could have been covered in a profile news post. That you decided to submit a part created specifically for a collaboration in both that original collaboration (which you, unlike about 40 artists, received a co-author), AND on its own.
There are plenty of other people in the collaboration who used voice actors and music too, should they all release them individually? and if so, why release them as a collaboration at all? This is just narcissism. It's not even that good.
It was a good idea to seperate this from the collab as this was one of the more outstanding entries in my opinion! "Now that's fucking metal!" As you wrote the names of the people who contributed in your description I can't see how this would be "narcissistic" at all.
I watched the MGS collab and this one I enjoyed not the most though (I haven't decided)
I didn't get it, but this was a fine part in the collab. It's one of the few collab parts that actually works as a standalone piece.
Oh, and to TheEmoKiller: You are quite the hypocrite. You say the creator of this movie is an award whore, and you're part of the Sprite A Day series! XD

Lol, this was my favorite piece of the collab anyway. Now, if i want to watch it, i don't have to wait for the whole other 50 artists to load.
it wuz cool, but i think most newgrouders won't like it due to the fact it is seperated from the rest of the entries. goes to show you that newgrounders need to live on hawaii and be eaten by the cursed sand whale. then crapped out so actual hawaiians can eat them.

Thanks for making this a standalone piece, so i dont have to go through the rest of the bullshit collab.
This is the only part of the disc one collab that was actually funny, apart from the "truth" skit.
As much as I love you animations man, I just didn't really see a reason to resubmit this piece. I mean, you already have co author in one of the biggest collabs to date. Im pretty sure you won a good chunk of money in doing so, I'm not sure. If not, well 2 awards isnt bad on your record either. And honestly, if you wanted to credit the people that were invovled you could have made a post about it on the front page. This was really unnesscary.
Fortunately I'm just gonna grade it on the animation itself. The animation was pretty good, for what was there. It was short of course, and the only great part was the ending where the colonel was like, "Now that's fucking metal". Also the running animation when he is running forward was well done. I didn't really like the other run loop just for the fact that it could have been tweaked a bit more to make it look better and smoother. Glad you got co author in the collab. It was indeed one of the better ones out of the entire thing.
I just really feel like you are going for another award for no particular reason, which isnt bad. I like awards. I would suggest that if you try to do this next time that you have made like other submissioins that didn't make it in the collab and put them together instead of just one we can find in the collab already. Well, I think I'm done typing

The axe weapon and pentagram on the headband, it screams METAL.
But your not trying to give people credit. You could to that on your page. This is just an attempt to win and award/steal one from more deserving people. It was a good animation, but this is just unneccesary.

all the part was great good graphics and animation, just the part where he is running and you can see him on a side view his feet moved to slow for that action scene but ayway thats no reason to take a 10 from you ^^

I like the part. It was really well done, and an enjoyable play on words.
It was VERY unexpected, but it manages that without adding in cock jokes. I appreciate the humor in the part.

But, I have to dock you lots of points for submitting this. I know you said it was to give all appropriate credit. But you could easily do that by making a uder page post with those names.
This just seems really unnecessary, seeing as you already have 2 awards from being co-authored on the actual collab.
In the end, it's just a slap in the face to those who participated in the collab. Sorry.
