"So following up from the last part"

date: July 7, 2008

Interesting idea, great use of the first person perspective(I liked that) You had a little bit of humor (shooting the tree branch...got a chuckle out of me) I noticed one the the last reviews said somethign about how loose the rifle sling was....yeah that and he cocked the rifle before he started moving initially...why? And then again before he fired it (reminded me of Counterstrike) With a loose fitting sling like that, all that needs to happen is the weapon getting caught on a bush somehow causing the trigger to get pulled and you shoot yourself in the butt-cheek =D I liked the fact that he put the scope on before firing, allthough that point sight probably wouldn't be too good for long range firing.

The sound wasn't bad, but as I said in the other review...the voice acting needs a little work. Your Foley artist did a good job at lining up the gun shot sounds when they hit their targets.

Pretty entertaining little movie you guys. Good job, and maybe we will see the next one.

Again with the honest in depth review. Even if the score isnt all that high, i really appreciate the thought you put into it. The voice acting was sort of supposed to be corny, and you can credit Mattyx for the timing being well done. The sniper scene wus actually fun to do because the guys out in the distance just acted, all the shooter had to do was keep the camera centered on the guy that was going to die next.

Anyways, i hope you can check out our past and future submissions too!

"Pretty good"

date: July 7, 2008

Ironically I think this movie would of been done better as a whole with Stick-men. Overall I think it was good, the audio for the briefing in the very beginning of the series was hard to hear but the plotline wasn't too complicated so it's not like you couldn't figure it out.

Being picky: The rifle sling, WAYY too loose. Wondering how many problems you guys had going through the woods with the rifle sticking out like that. Not to mention (again being picky) rifle slings are supposed to be fairly tight against the rifle, just lose enough so you can wrap it around your arm once should you need to shoot standing up. This locks the rifle into your arm allowing for more stability.

Not being picky: Loved the neck snappage, cliche stick animation technique but awesome to see it done in real life! I especially loved the pistol view when you shoot out the log to land on the guy. I immediately closed the window and brought it back up just so I could get a replay on that!

Summary: It's a basic plot, nothing complicated and no twists. Doesn't matter, you made it entertaining to watch. The mics for the dialogue need improvement, not sure what you can do for that. You managed to do a lot of cool things with the camera and props you had and the only complaints I had were relatively minor. Good job and keep up the work!

Author's Response:

Yea the audio quality and the start was intentionally poor, tried to make it sound like a little radio. We agree it could have been better. We appreciate the in depth review as well. So thanks alot, hope you continue to watch our stuff.
