this is a clone i made of kirby samurai on snes in flash. press space when "!" appears and get a score out 0f 10 to see how fast your reflexes are. it is possible to get 10 just listen to the heartbeats.
it is to short!

An ok game. It really does test your reflexes. Tough to get a 10 though. Took me 15 tries. For some reason i thought something was gonna pop out of nowere like a screamer video.
It was a good effort and idea, but just not played out very well. There is only one battle, and it looks like it's a set time, rather than a random one. The anamation itself wasn't very good either; it seems like you had 12 FPS.
Try again, make a smoother anamation, and more random and faster times. It's too easy as is.
really liked the concept of the game but, like on the SNES game, have different characters/levels/etc.

I lkove sprites. One thing you copuld've done was make it so the ! appeared randomly so the heartbeats couldn't help you, with that I think my interest would've lasted longer.
The easiest thing to do was just listen to how many times the heartbeats looped, rather than the heartbeats themselves.
I've seen better reflex testers but still this wasn't half bad.
btw my score out of 3 games was 7,7,5.

I suggest this if you want to train your timing.
but there is no random factor, and missing many other factors that make a game good...

another suggestion would be to use the other minigames from kirby superstar to make a similar effect. (that was such a good game)
good luck in the future, i fived for nostalgia reasons and because i knew it would pass anyway so why hurt your score :x

you copied from Nightmare in Dreamland, which was a really good game. I do like how u copied it and made it public so people don't have to buy the game...I just dont like HOW you made it...yes, it is very similar to the GBA one, but that's it! Nothing new. U also could have worked on the animations. In the GBA version, there's a flash, then the winner is standing behind the person. In this, u actually see kirby/metaknight move...I don't really like that...A few areas to improve, but overall, a nice recreation. I couldn't do any better
I love it but it is very short and is the same opponent and level and evything. You can make another one with more stuff. That would be cool!

thats a mini game off of kirby superstar for the Snes
the rolling noise that looped in the background hurt my head, and if i did want to play kirby samuri, id play my emulation. better anyways.(i realise that this may have been a practice clone but it could ahve been better)\

I'm a big fan of Kirby but this is pretty "weak".
One round? I think you can do better then that.
i remember that one. well it was entertaining for alittle while, but it gets tiring. try making more than one level or difficulties.
I remember this game from Kirby Super Star... lol i aped it...
