"one and 4/5 thumbs up"

date: July 6, 2008

Great music collab. THe animations were extremely well done. And they fit perfectly with the music. The was a large variety of animations and songs to listen too. Great job guys!

Suggestions: The transitions could have been a bit smoother. Sometimes I didn't know where the last song ended and the next begun. That was the last 1/5 thumb. But other than that this flash was awesome!

"Great Collab!!"

date: July 6, 2008

This was a great collab, awesome parts and very well put together. I actually made a part for this but i made it too late hahaha. All the music used was clear and the different songs worked well together i thought. Very nice.

The graphics were varied throughout the collab some were great, like Glowing monkeys, but some were pretty bad in my opinion, like stickmanslicerguys, it seemed like for such a simple piece he could of put more effort into the graphical design of it.

The sound was great, all the songs were cool, and some of my personal faves were in there too. I liked it alot. Great quality too. Nice work. The animation was pretty varied too, some had more some had less but some better than others. :)

The 2 flash artists in this who stuck out the most for me would of had to be Simple line and Respirit. Simple line because firstly he had the most parts in the collab and also he had such a cool style and the colours were used in very interesting ways. Respirit because it was graphically better looking than the rest and he went in an interesting direction with it, using guitar hero as a medium.

Overall a great collab, and hopefully we'll see a sequal to it sometime soon. Very good guys. Nice work!! :D

"Songs don't flow too well."

by: Bezman
date: July 6, 2008

I love the idea, but feel the execution could have been better.

My main objection is that the pieces of music felt less like a crazy mash-up and more like short pieces of music that didn't generally flow too well. The few pieces after Cobalt Chloride's flow fairly well but differing lengths, fade outs or silence at the start of tracks, differing BPMs and moods all conspire to make this seem more like different things stuck together without enough thought.

Maybe changing BPM/limiting length or some overlap or more judicious song-choice and ordering would have helped.

Simple line and Raz had awesome pieces. Cobalt Chloride had a cool style too.

For the most part, the graphics are functional but nothing to write home about.

I like the idea, but it still seems lacking in execution to me.
