First of all we would like to say that some silence in the program was connected with very hard work, part of which is our beloved 3D-engine at its 5th version. Now we can tell that new architecture was worth working on it. With a great pleasure we created this small demo for you, to show engine abilities.
Alternativa3D tech specs:
* Signals system - only nesessary calculations;
* BSP - quality polygon sorting, "sharp" crossings;
* n-gons support;
* reusing layers (only changed regions redrawing, polygons are independent);
* objects hierarchy;
* only necessary matrix, coords and UVs recalculating;
* perspective correction - dynamic triangulation;
* collision detection.
Isometric mode was also optimized and now works much faster.
And this is not all. In a future we'll create and implement some new features::
* dynamic lighting and shadows (point and directional lights);
* bump lighting;
* parallax mapping;
* automatic UV-mapping;
* sprites, 3D-sprites;
* sprite lighting;
* texture objects;
* Global Illumination imitation;
* sprite pre-render system (phases render on server using uploaded 3D-models);
* animation system (including inverse kinematics);
* 3D-objects interactivity;
* physics simulation.
Besides that, Alternativa3D engine is already adapted for coming Flash Player 10. Texture correction and lighting will work faster.
This technology applications are rather wide::
* 3D online first- and third person games;
* architecture visualisation;
* multyuser entertainment media;
* promo-sites;
* advertising (including "3D-banners");
* science %u0444and educational interactive projects.
what is the point again? I see what you were trying to do here, but at least give your submissions a storyline.
Not much to say about it. I think rebinding "zoom in/out" to Q and E would be better, as it's right next to the WASD keys so you can better move around the area. That way you wouldn't need to keep switching your hand from the WASD keys to +/- or from the mouse. Other than that, congrats on a very awesome test.

It looked really hard to design that, good job on it. It turned out well.
I'm looking forward to more of these 3D images.
The 3-D engine itself is great, and works well. The problem is that the demo is pretty boring for the average NG user. Now go and build something around it!

not very interactive, and the camera was slow, but i enjoyed it
but where is the game part of it?
ok, this is really a good one. for those who don't know what this is: it's not a game or game creator program, it's more like a 3D player allowing you to play 3D games better and shows 3D movies, banners and such.
to the author: am i right?
seriously, wtf is the point of this??? I have how you keep hosting this crap when seriously... nobody cares. There is no game to is so do not host it here.

Wow, Excelent 3D model of a factory. I don't know how did you made so amazing model, but it's very high quality, but a bit sharp. You should give it more blur and make it much, much bigger. Dear dude :3
in the fact that i like the concept .. but perhaps a 3d shooter .. with same graphics or summit ... but realisticly ... neads a game side to it ...

You can't really do anything with it. I like the 3D Bunker much better.
