This is a remake of my previous game "Rapid Fire".
I have made several changes in the present game taking into account
the suggestions made by the reviewers of the original game.
Press UP and DOWN arrow keys to move your player.
Press LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys to aim your player's laser gun.
Press space bar to shoot from your player's laser gun.
Your player is having five lives.
If you kill all the enemies in a level you go to next level.

shoot with mouse

Good start to a game, but you should think about using the mouse to aim and fire your laser.

here is an idea

make different enemies with different amounts of health. level one enemies should have 1 health, level 2 enemeis should have 2 health, etc.

Not bad

Why do i have to hold down space bar, why can't i just press it and the shot keeps going?
Also, why did you bother to put a wall in if they can just shoot through it?
Other than that its alright.. i guess

cagedlion responds:

In my original version there was no space bar presssing. Some people wanted control over your firing. I can give option for continuous firing also.

Seeing as this is not your first game, I would have excpected your skills at flash to improve. the game has major bugs, I will list a few:
Laser stops unless you hold space.
Barricades are useless, seeing as the bullets go right through them and still take your life.

Aside from bugs, the graphics are terrible, and the rotating of the gun was very bad.

I hope you improve at flash.

cagedlion responds:

If you hide behind the wall you get a split-second time to kill the enemy before he breaks the wall with his first bullet! I thought it helps you to gain some advantage.

Eh...

It kept me occupied for five minutes, but the game gets quite repetative, the hit detection leaves a little to be desired, and calling it "rapid" fire is a bit of a stretch. Keep working on it and it can be good though. The concept is solid. Maybe make different types of cover that can take more than one hit or something. Power-ups would be great too.

cagedlion responds:

Basically I wanted it to be a time killer, rather than a full fledged professional game.
Options for more weapons, and powerups can be included.
