This is a very awesome game because it presents, in the flesh so to speak, the idea of "simple to learn, hard to master". Programmers rarely find this middle ground where, just because the game is simply made (this one's less than 1MB in size!), people can find hours of gameplay and still find it fun and challenging. This is the reason arcade games were so popular, you could play galaga for a week straight, but still only get so far and, for some reason, you can still have fun. This is that type of game where, you could play for hours, not just because that's how long it takes, but because you find it fun.
I will continually play this just to try and get further into the song and enjoy every minute and that makes this game successful.
This is simple, but magistrally orchestrated. The initial piano sequence with the apparently crucial message, the flashing loading bar with the music boost, and the game itself. You took profit of a simple idea 200%, it's the mark of a flash programming genious.
This made me smile. It's both informative and hilarious. And that's a good thing. Also, you do seem to like elephants quite a bit. At least, they do seem to turn up in a lot of your stuff. Keep it up!
i love games like these
where its so exciting and the dance music is face-paced and amazing (and its not some shitty techno or pop song) and the reward is the epic flow of it and the punishment is the loss of rythm and speed. theres no real victory or loss, just a load of fun.
indie games are the best. and so are you, jmtb02!
