my first time using my tablet in practice for frame by frame animation. i think i could get used to it. This flash isnt really meant to be anything but some frame by frame practice. it took me like 4 hours to make, and it helped me get a good grip on my wacom tablet. i can make some decent stuff now - but i need an applicable computer - and a writer, i can write some stuff, but i need someone whos a good writer too - so they can be better than 7s oreven 8s. soon ihope to make a cool mini series of anythig! actually, id like to help animate/voice act for egoraptor, however i dunno how obtain the chance.
.....even if the animation is alittle messy and is very short.
How did you do that? Can you recommend any tutorials?

It's a good start. With the ability to draw the outlines really well, all you need is a storyline, some color, and a couple special effects. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
BUT There was no sound and the animation was dull.
I am a Huge fan of the show and you draw it well but all I saw was a crude animation. Show us the complete extent of what you can do with the tablet not just the very basic.
This is good for a 6 I would have given you a 10 if you have played The Pillows Ride on Shooting Star while it played and colored the damn thing in but 6/10 until then
Good fbf animation doesn't make a movie.
Also it isn't your own animation or chara design, you just rotoscoped few images.
Try making something that actually have some plot developed and is a piece of your very own design.
I see that's now very stylish to put on newgrounds colourless scraps. Some do hit frontpage, like SpikeVallentine's Speed Anims. But he actually puts the soul in his works.
Awesome animation, really smooth and nice,but it often be hard to tell whats happening because all the characters are hard to distinguish...try adding a bit of colour, using the fill tool.....other than that, a very nice animation...

Moments of clear animation were great, but when you backed out from character faces the linework got cluttered quickly. The brush is too thick for large scenes like that. Animation looked cool, but this is just a practice.
Add some sound and you will get a full ten. Nice animation.
If you ever clean it up and ad color and sound let me know!... I liked it.
It's just like the show, I'd like to know how to do stuff like that sometime but I've got no tablet as of right now. Keep up work like that, I'd like to see more of it someday but fully fleshed out with color and sound and all that.

Your tight shots were great, it's the wide ones that seem convoluted. Otherwise, it was great!
This was an awesome little animation, and a little practice item.
I love the shadeing and the smooth movemeants. Keep up the good work.
i suggest adding music and stuff cuz the flcl OST rocks. keep playing and with the tablet and a neat trick in flash is to use the brush tool and zoom in for detail. it can be alot of fun to make and watch.
RainbowLion: i HIGHLY recomend watching the anime series FLCL or fooly cooly (where this short doodle test is from). its very random but funny and theres only a few episodes, no more then 7, cant remember exactly how many.

take out the loop and throw in some music and maybe a little color and you,ve got a hit
It was cool just do it for realyand add some sound and it'll be great.
Very nice, Very nice. Uhhh.... it was great for practice and very good for a flash. I for one wish i could draw like that but o well huh. Uhmmm To make it better I'd just add some random heavy metal rift in there, also i liked it becuase it had the essence of whats going on like in the manga (not so much the anime) but still. Uhmm also make somewhat of a background whether it's broken buildings or the gutter under the bridge. Nice, now wheres the miny series.
