The whole speed of the animation should be taken up to speed, to hold the viewers attention, which unfortunately isn't very long.

"Background...oh god, gackground!"

Ok, so, I know you want us to forgive you for having a still background. But in truth, having a still background is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) problem in this submission. Having that still background made it pretty hard to see what was going on with the ships (especially because of that line of bright light).

It might be hard work, but having a background that moves would help a lot. And I mean a lot!

I'm giving this 4/10 and 2/5

"Missing a few things..."

This movie was pretty good, but it had two problems.
Number one was the stationary background. I'd look into making skyboxes if I where you.
Number two was the pixel quality. The movie seemed to be at 2x zoom...I'd suggest halving the resolution.
