That kept me entertained... for 5 - 10 minutes.

In all honesty, the intro was more entertaining than the game itself. The game wasn't bad, but it had a few flaws -- too short and too little variety, mainly. Whether by accident or by design, the parrots are quite difficult to avoid. On the other hand, the tentacles are almost never a problem. The music was enjoyable but repetetive. The minigames added a bit of replayability, but I'm not likely to return to this game. Perhaps additional levels, songs, and minigames would improve the overall quality.

Smooth

Very cute, the zebra costumes were neat and the scenery was great! I'll be honest, I was actually disappointed at how boring it got! You could have at least added a few mini-games or made it more fun in a different way? Anyways, I'm sure I will see more from you guys in the future, just try tomake it a little bit moe fun, but it's still a great game!

Definitely the best of the James the Zebra series

This game was pretty enjoyable, principally due to its simple concept, great graphics and music. However there are some things that I would like to adress.
First of all, as with all other games in the series, James is too slow and jumps very low, this maybe because it's appropriate for the level design or just to add difficulty, but I would still like it better if it were more dynamic.
Then, there is the fact that tentacles damage you even when they ar not in movement and just laying on the deck, maybe this was made on purpose, but I just don't like enemies that just damage you because they're enemies even if they didn't attempt to hit you in any way, unless of course if the enemi es made of fire or something, I know it's a minor detail and is not that annoying, but I still wanted to address it.
And finally I have to agree with the general opinion tah it is way too short, it does have some extra modes, yes, but they're too simple, easily boring and even shorter.
I'll give this game a 4 since I really liked the graphics, the music and the intro cutscene. And that's all.

I like a lot of the style

Have you ever played Claw? great pirate-cat game, some levels look like this one. I'd like to see a fleshed-out version of this game, definitely; for the quality I'm sure either one of you SFBros can make real with focus, this is a great example of 'record time' work.
love the commentary, but of course it's the desire to -feel- like we've lived the game that gets us into these obsession-addicted runs for another thin, genre-driven movie, in the hope it'll make us feel something someday. If we play a game that makes everyone feel like a pirate, i think that would herald the end of pirate'y stuff, for a generation or two
