To be honest
Gamer Tonight, despite having brilliant voice acting and more than decent animation, is not very funny.
I guess it doesn't really fall under the standard "fast paced video-game humour with rampant swearing" that Newgrounds is so accustom to. Not that I have a problem with that at all. I guess it all falls down to personal taste.

What is this doing at top 50#?
There was 2 good jokes in that, else it was pretty corny and not very "extreme" in its way to present the boring things...
Frankly there was not much to the animation but the sprites were nice and fluent.
Honestly I don't know either. These are rather rushed for TV (made in about 6 days), but people seem to like them. Not really anything I can do about it.
The sprites were all done from scratch using the pixel brush plugin.
