don't think you really need to change a whole lot. Maybe make it a little harder... the money amount was good- I liked having to pick and choose who I would use early on to keep things under control. You may consider mixing the enemies together. Put some of the fast ones in with the tanks so you have to worry about two enemy fronts...just an idea. Right now it seems too much like an assembly line. Overall, I found it very amusing to play, though. Loved the sniper:)...probably my favorite guy cause he can reach so far. Adds a bit more strategy to the game.

unfortunate bug, but a game with serious potential

I like the mobility factor in this "tower" defense game. it's definitely innovative, and i think with further refinement (ahem, sequel?) it could set this game (series?) apart from other tower defensers.
as it stands, i noticed the "white screen" bug when i "lost focus" on the window, as it were, and went to itunes and then came back to it. you can still see the units, the map is still usable (ie. i can airlift to the points that should be airliftable, etc) but i can't really see what's going on, and can't see the menu either. after the level finished i tried clicking where the "start wave" button should have been, but to no avail. Given that problem, your score is lowered. as it stands, i'll give it a go without switching windows and see how it goes. i think this is a game worth revisiting, and i will be doing so later on in hopes of seeing updates and all.
oh, i'm sure some people will be crying for music or whatever, but if you do add it, also add an option to turn off the music (but leave the sound on), because that's an instant 5 in my book. ^_^
Good job, over all.

A little tricky at first but I managed to beat it the second time through. It's just what a good defense game is supposed to be - a good way to kill an hour or so!

Pretty good, with good innovations

I'm a big tower defense lover and try to play as many as I can get my hands on. I was kind of sketchy about the HAVING to use the number keys to buy units, you should make it so you can choose, but after a while you do get used to it. I enjoyed the airlift feature, but I think you should have made it so you didn't really have to use it almost right away.

A couple of things I think you should fix are:

1) The x on the boxes that appear between levels makes it seem that you can close those boxes, but clicking the x doesn't do so.
2) If you have guys placed near the critter exit they continue to shoot at ones that have already passed into the civilian zone and that can severely effect your defense, I lost more then a few security points from that.
3) I didn't find the third piercing unit to be that useful, it's rate of fire and damage seemed to be offset TOO much by the range and cost of it.

Overall I think it has excellent potential.
