The zombie horde are unrelenting, insatiable. The only chance to survive is to make it to Union City in 40 days, before the evacuations end.

Move from town to town collecting all you can carry and defend yourself through the night.

liked it alot, and i even has the most greatest story ever, barricade fell and i countined on and survived, i'm serious, chainsaw is your best friend later on, even then its a must to have in your back up, or main, never got anything else other than the grenades, m4a1, revolver, handgun, sawn off, and hunting rifle, plus my best friend chainsaw, as you can see my weapons were mostly single fire or just weaker than the others, ether tho, i noticed one of my surviors (i did this all with only 1 after i moved from the first place) got killed by a zombie with a melee weapon, so be carful about your survivors when zombies with weapons come in, you could find yourself short of men. oh and an explaination of the traps would help, just a simple one, like bear traps stop oppoenents, gas tanks exploded when shot at, and the mines, well you could leave them out cause there obvious (3 stages to it, step, click, BOOM) but that was quite hard, and it certainly was a good wait, but side note, doesn't kill as much time as the last one. oh and note you must have at least 5 or 6 days left to reach union city, or its zombie stew for you!

not perfect

i give it no stars because of many reasons when the zombie hits the wall where a survivor is standing while its holding a weapon the survivors dies how the hell can an army and swat soldier withstand a direct hit from an RPG?! your barrier gets weaker the further you go it gets longer with the zombie waves i barely survive most of the waves without my survivors running make a Last Stand 3 and make it perfecter than this will ever be

Great sequel

The one thing I didn't like was the lack of those diary entries, I really loved them in the first one because they really gave the game a great feeling, this didn't have it but zombie killing never gets old.

I am getting a tad tired of the dogs, fast zombies, fat zombies and normal zombies, although putting the effort into giving them different clothes made it more bearable, just wider variety of monsters would be cool, though it would take away from that realistic feeling, maybe going in a weird Resident Evil thing isn't the best idea, iunno.

Would the next game be something along the lines of, oh no, an infected on the boat *gasp* we didn't expect this. The mother land is now overrun! Oh noes. If so, for shame, the beginning of this was really just unimaginative, I mean seriously? Military is fighting zombies and they still take a infected onboard? Silly army.

And now a short list of weird things.

A army soldier can take a direct hit from a RPG in the chest and survive? Thats some nice body armor.
Arrows can detonate the explosive can things? No pl0x.
Didn't like how even if you aimed past the explosive cans they still detonated, maybe make them go kaboom if you target em.

Improvements? Scavenging for food and ammo instead of unlimited amounts maybe.
Ability to dedicate time to upgrading or reinforcing your barricades, once I reached that fort place and searched everything I just had 12 hours with nothing to do.
Customizing weapons? Finding pieces of random things that you can attach to your guns would be cool.

Eh, great game.
