The zombie horde are unrelenting, insatiable. The only chance to survive is to make it to Union City in 40 days, before the evacuations end.

Move from town to town collecting all you can carry and defend yourself through the night.

Some issues

If a survivor dies and you lose the level, you don't get the survivor back when you try again, which means that the level that was hard enough to kill you the first time around gets harder.

Also, I really, really wish that the weapons switched faster and that you could switch weapons mid-reload. Having a shotgun as a backup is useless when you have to wait for your ak to reload first...

Finally, it would be nice to have the grenades either have a larger blast radius or a shorter cooldown time. I can see them being really useful, but they just aren't as they're set up right now.

Other than that, fantastic game. Definitely one of the best on newgrounds.

Kind of hard

Okay, it is an alright game, sure, but by day 39, it becomes BULL! Their are WAY too many fast ones to hold off with weapons too even, so they come right up there and slaughter all my survivors, making it so I AM THE ONLY ONE LEFT to fend off that many myself??? Seems a bit hard to me, no reload swapping is a huge complaint, it was ok, but it pissed me off that it was a tad bit too hard after a while.

It was alright, wasted my time for almost an hour, but I was extremely disappointed about the amount of running zombies/dogs, and the runners having weapons at that, to kill my whole party, making it impossible to pass the level.

KICK ASS!

I was expecting good
but this was great!
i like how you have to move form town to town and search places for items
unlike the first one where all u did was stay in the same area.
hope to see another
:]

awesome

overall an improvment on the last one, excellent job, but there were some things that bugged me, the soldiers just refuse to die and the chainsaw seems to have no effect on them. i cant even tell if im hitting them or not, it seems like i do but they dont bleed like all the others.

lack of switching to weapon B after firing the last shot with weapon A is a pain, it basically forces you to reload A first.

it doesn't seem to matter where you actually search as what you find tends to be completly random. (though maybe im wrong?)

some tips for the players:

focus on the zombies carrying weapons first, they have enough reach to attack your fellow survivors and will do so, occasionally killing them

when you get a chance always move to the next area immidiatly, first of all you get closer to your ultimate goal, second of all you will not have to waste time repairing your barricade, given that you get a new one in your new destination.

the zombie virus may have slowed everyone else to a crawl but sprinting grandmas have become a common site, watch out for these marathon runners, whom im pretty sure are somehow able to move faster then they would were they still alive.

distribute weapons to your allies, its very tempting to take the shotgun or the m4 for yourself, but given that they take less skill they should go to someone else. focus on using the hunting rifle, the compound bow and the chainsaw (until you have enough weapons to go around for everyone). the rifle is best left in your hands to gain quick headshot kills, the bow and chainsaw cant be used by the allies at all.

use grenades with caution. they are great for taking out large groups but by the time you finally get them everyone is running at you and the grenades seem to have a minimum range which keeps the barricade attacking zombies safe, as well as a painfully slow cooldown time. i was doing fine until i tried the grenades and almost died doing it.

put the best weapons in the centre of your formation so they can be used against more zombies.

avoide the big cities; despite their greater supplies, you will encounter more zombies. remember that as the game progresses the zombies get more numerous and dangerous but you get more allies and supplies -- despite this the game still gets harder later, so you want to keep it as close to the easy first level as possible (less allies and weapons but less zombies). thus go to smaller cities where there are less zombies

after the first city is done with there is pretty much no point in conserving traps, use them 2,3 or 4 at a time, especially on the last stages of each city.

move around! if you just stand in the middle and try to attack you are allowing unecessary damage to your barricade, you need to move, especially to get T zombies on the far bottom.
