The zombie horde are unrelenting, insatiable. The only chance to survive is to make it to Union City in 40 days, before the evacuations end.

Move from town to town collecting all you can carry and defend yourself through the night.

even better than the first

wow, both of your submissions are insanely awesome, what was wrong with the original last stand, you fixed in this, i loved the extended time limit, the ability to chose the weapons for your partners, the traps were alright but not entirely neccessary, but the additional areas made this game great, i said it last time and i was right i expected greatness from you, and you definitly show it, great job well worth the 10/10

Tis' Great, however...

One of my only real problems is the reduced durability of the barricades. Even though it was for the sake of gameplay, I have to admit it made the situation a little more desperate, perhaps too much so, also, it would have also been good if the survivor limit was 7, as in the original, it would have at least made the difference against the horde.

Also, some of the suggestions of the previous reviewers actually seemed interesting, and if you make a third sequel, it would probably be a good idea to integrate some of those ideas into it...

Lastly, it would have been better if some of the traps (like the bear trap) could reset after use in the city you used them in. Even though it would make the game slightly more easier, the fact that the zombies get more "persistent" should'nt make it too boring.

One other thing: How do I find the RPG and grenades mentioned by some guys in the previous reviews?

Con-Artists responds:

Yeah the reduced survivors was more of an issue where once you can give them any weapon you want, I was finding that you could just sit back and let the survivors do the work.

I loved the first one and you really improved the entire game. I love the ability to select your destination, as well as the differing barricade levels and gathering of supplies. All in all, a wonderful that will likely steal hours of my life that should have been spent on work.

A few suggestions however, is for the third game include something like a rage meter or a 'bullet time' type deal. The camera could switch to a first-person view and all head shots could be one-hit kills. Might be difficult to pull off, but I think it would be a great addition. Also, you should definitely include boss fights. Lastly, switching up the enemy types would be nice. What happened to all the birds? Are there any woodland creatures like bears or wolves around? What about zoo life like in I Am Legend escaping?

All in all, a superb game, and if you take into consideration some of the fan's suggestions, the third installment will likely be the best of them all.

An improvement on an already spectacular game

I don't know how you did it, but you managed to blow Last Stand out of the water! I liked everything you added to the game, particularly the searching & replay value. The game was wicked & I can't wait for another one (because I'm sure we're not safe at last).

I do agree with PrototypeC that roadside attacks would be kind of cool, also some sort of minigame that you could add to the searching would be interesting.
