Prepare to make your last stand....again.

Welcome back to the zombie-infested hell-hole known as planet Earth. In The Last Stand 2, you are once again thrusted into the roll of Jill Valentine, a spunky Racoon City cop who doesn't take crap from anyone! Oh wait, wrong game. You take on the roll of our male hero from the previous game; let's call him Frank. Anyways, things for Frank have taken a huge turn for the worse. They rescue helicopter he was in crashes and he is now forced to use his talents for finding weapons and gun-slinging survivors, once again, to make it to Union City. Yes, Union City, where the skies are blue, the grass is green and the undead are mowed down by the military blockade that's waiting to take people to safety. Luckily for our man Frank, his plane crashed near the nice town of Glendale, which isn't too far away. Only armed with a pistol, Frank begins another journey in a zombie riddened land. Veterans of this zombie defense series will automaticlly feel at home with the game and it's controls, that is, until right aftr the first day. The Search option has been seriously revamped. Players now have the option of choosing locations on a map which, according to what you want, will bare the best results. If your're looking for supplies so you can get the hell outta Dodge, try searching Supermarkets and stores. If you jonsin' for a new Uzi to eraticate walking corpses with, head for the police stations or security firms. Balance is crucial. Spending too much time searching for one thing will either leave you stranded with no way to reach Union City or leave you vulnerable when Dirge and his crew come rollin' through. Another thing to be wary of is your survivor buddies. On the bright side, they don't die when you're searching anymore. On the not-so-bright side, they weaker, dumber will desert you when things get hairy and can be killed by weapon wielding zombies. Yep, it seems the few dudes and dudettes that survived the initial zombie romp weren't smart enough to leave home with anything other than their pistols. But don't worry, cause in The Last Stand 2, you can loan them YOUR guns! Just assign the gun you want to the survivor you like the best during your Daytime preparations. Choose carefully though, some guns take a while to reload and will leave your comrades open like a Brittany Spears' legs. If your survivors DO die on the battlefield, don't worry, you'll get you're gat back at the end of the night. Some of the weapons you're used to seeing in T.L.S have gone the way of the dinosaur while others make their grand debut. The all mighty hunting rifle has retired only to be succeeded by the ever-popular RPG (which is not in Newgrounds version). The M4A1 is still around and the so is the Magnum and the gruesome chainsaw. And who can forget the awesome, but inaccurate Uzi? However you slice it, you'll still fine more than enough interesting weapons to test out on the living dead. And, trust me, you'll need em'. With fluctating barrier strength and armor-wearing zombies all around, it's gonna be one long last stand. Here's a hint for those having trouble: THINK CROWD CONTROL, NOT TOTAL ACCURACY. Overall, the same great T.L.S goodness with a little more innovation. The Last Stand 2 gets 10 cleaver swinging zombies out of 10!

AWESOME!!!

this game was just shy of perfact!!!
-the only thing you need to improve is to add a endless mode
-(unless there is one and im just to stupid to figure it out. and if there is then this game is perfact!!!)
-the reason i think it needs an endless more is i want to be able to search every quare inch of land without being botherd by the time limit ^_^...
