The zombie horde are unrelenting, insatiable. The only chance to survive is to make it to Union City in 40 days, before the evacuations end.

Move from town to town collecting all you can carry and defend yourself through the night.

Wha....

Is that really the end!?

I swear I had 5 days left and it only took me 4 days to get to Union City. I just really really need an answer right now...because if this was the real end then...wow...I would be relieved that I don't have to replay the game.

Weapons per Town:
Starting Town: .315 revolver, chainsaw
2nd Town North: Composite bow, Shotgun
2nd Town South: Uzi, UMP .45
Middle Town: Sawed-off-Shotgun, Hunting Rifle
2nd last town: Grenades, M4A1
Exclusive Town: M249 SAW, RPG

Great zombie shooting

A very great game, with good choice of weapons, and various places. Good trap system too, with the good mix of tactics and actions.

Suggestion : Improve ally AI, and revamp the ending a little bit.

Amazing game

If I could give you a 9.5 I would... it's a 9/10 or 5/10 based on what I can give you.
I beat it on the first try and took the 'southern' route to do it.
I mainly used the chainsaw to keep the front line cleared off while my guys took shots. I most opportunities with no fast moving zombies coming in to reload the chainsaw and if I didn't need to reload, I'd break out my secondary gun until more fast movers came or the line started pushing up to the front. This worked very well.
Also, take the opportunity to fully explore the smaller towns... they're much easier to defend and collect supplies in for future towns that you don't want to hang around in.
It seems that your repairs become more efficient the longer you stay in town - starting sometimes at 5 points per hour and working up to 15 points per hour?

The only suggestions I can make for the game design are:

-The ending was kind of weak relative to the rest of the game. Didn't give me much of a sense of accomplishment. I think it'd personally be a pretty sweet ending to have one final stand as the survivors are being rounded up to leave, and you stand there with several well armed army men instead of your survivor group, and hold the line.

-I really enjoyed the daily diary entries in the first game. It set a stronger mood and storyline. I didn't see one in this game though.

-I wasn't always sure if one gun's stats were more desirable than the another gun. Maybe you wanted to leave that information out to make the game a little more life like.
