I really love Mother 3, and it breaks my heart that there might never be an official translation (although the folks at mother3.fobby.net are doing good work with their fantranslation, go give them love and support). Listening to Unfounded Revenge/Smashing Song of Praise from the Super Smash Bros. Brawl soundtrack reminded me of how much I loved the game and its soundtrack and its characters, and here we are.
THERE ARE SOME MOTHER 3 SPOILERS IN THIS AS A WARNING. I don't know how much sense they'd make out of context, but if you ARE trying to avoid spoilers, then I probably wouldn't watch this. It's up to you though.
Anyway, when I pictured this I had in mind those elaborate, pixelated black and white animated GIFs you see around occasionally, the ones with very detailed animation in a small space with limited colors. But to sync it with the music right, I went with Flash instead, thus why the entire thing is only in black and white. Deliberate stylistic choice, not laziness. |D The Smashing Song of Praise part also wasn't me being lazy, I just pictured it in my head as still shots so there you go.
I thought this'd be a quick project but it took way longer than I thought. :B

nice but confusing
the animations are nice but most of the time they are too hard to see
also its not a spoiler because who the heck is going to play mother 3 these days

Boring, impossible to follow and badly drawn
Next time, at least try to have some story in there for us to follow. Also, stop crying about mother 3, it won't make you interresting no matter how hard you try.

Wowwy Kazowie! Earthbound 2!!!
Oh man, I've seen some really cool stuff about this game! Well, first of all, the storyline is darker, with character death and all. You get this rope snake that latches on to ledges. There's supposed to be this new rhythmic upgrade to the previous battle system. The music is as good as ever. What gets me psyched about this game though, is the fact the main villian is Pokey(ok, "Porky") from the previous title. His body rapidly aged due to his abuse of time travel, and he erected a dictatorship and city in his image. He kidnaps Dr. Andonuts and makes him build technology that is corrupting the once uncorrupted Nowhere Islands. The main character, Lucas, embarks on a journey with the help of his cowboy father to pull out seven "needles" to awake an acient dragon that according to legend, will purify the world. There is also a sad apocalyptic ending... Man this game reeks of awesome! I just cannot wait!... But the game is foe Gameboy Advance, and the GBA is dead in favor of the new DS handheld...
There not gonna release this game, are they?.... ( ; _ ; )
