"Simply beyond amazing"
From the commemorating wave of newground flash animations your's stands above remarkable. and such a compelling story that i watched once a day for several weeks. What i got out of it was that when the boy commits suicide the second time he doesn't know hes actually going to die. its just that the first time what happened to him was almost his "high" and he wanted to reach that place again. So very Depressing yet so amazingly beautiful and happy.
also an amazing song.

That's the first time I've heard this song and it is BRILLIANT. The story is pretty good too - reminded me a little of Pan's Labyrinth.

Asilos Magdalena is about a prostitute, Magdalena, and a man's pursuit and feelings for her. This song however went very well. Especially when he goes into the room with the cloud with hands and the eyeball. Very tragic when he kils himself again. Awesome song. But the best part was "Estrella de la manana, Samael te persigo a ti..." u shoulda put that it in. I love this song. I can play it ;) lol nice job man. 10/10. mars Volta rocks.
Yeah, I wanted to get the entire song in, but time stood in my way I'm afraid. As far as lyrics relating to the movie, maybe I should have said that Magdalena is his mother? And this is all in the future? That could work :p Seeing the future and hearing the past.

The only part that I don't get in terms of the plot is why the kid decides to commit suicide... Is it because of the sorrowfulness induced by the uncaring parents or the attraction of meeting the imaginative friends in his world when he is unconscious?
That is up to you to decide, sir. My guess is he doesn't even know it kills him. He's a kid, and it went well the first time.
