The game itself is fairly simple: You must rotate the outer ring of cells to catch the corresponding coloured particles which move outwards from the center of the screen. For every particle you catch your energy bar gradually turns green, while missed particles cause it to gradually turn red. Keep it in the green to score points, but go too far into the red and it's game over. Fully max-out the energy bar with a chain of enough correctly matched particles to gain bonus points.

Don't let the simple mechanics fool you, though... this game is tricky! It gradually turns from nice and casual to absolutely frantic, where one little mistake can lead to a huge, panicked chain reaction!

"Amazing retro game."

date: August 28, 2008

32-35 were my favorite levels.

32- rapid-fire balls kind of like the gift levels [Friendly Bacteria to name one], but that mischevious purple slot was awesome to deal with

33- dark matter made you appreciate the subtle graphics fx. They were awesome

34- Once I learned the gray didn't go with the gray but the black ^^, it was one of the awesomest levels. It kinda feels less like a "catch them" level than a "let them escape" level. It certainly messed with my mental perspective, and I loved that.

35- Even awesomer, red, not red, red, not red. Awesome decision-making

And the graphics were just impeccable, even if they're not the most upscale. Great retro game, and while I can't flawlessly go from level 1 to the end, I did eventually beat each level. :)

One rating point down for flimsy controls (5/5 on the vote itself though), James Brown Is Dead, Singularity, and other levels were just impossible to control with those segments that were only one segment wide. (good reflexes to know when the ball's already lined up with the right wedge did help me out though)

It's pretty cool how such a well made game can be as small in size as this. Just goes to show you don't need loads of fancy bells and whistles to make a good game
