A boy is bored in class and draws in his notebook while his teacher drones on in her lecture. Meanwhile something peculiar happens in his notes...

This animation was done about a week ago after two weeks of hard work, but we waited until the film festival we entered it into to find out if we won anything for it, so that I could mention our award here. However, unfortunately the person in charge of the festival could not find a way for the sound of our flash file to come through the speakers and our video was not shown. Had the person contacted me or Raskin about the issue, I would have gone out of my way to export the file as a different filetype so it would work, but he did not contact us and it did not work out.

Now that I finished my venting I present to you all Doodlequest, a cartoon that Andrew Raskin wrote, and Patrick TeNyenhuis animated. Enjoy!

EDIT: So apparently after we left early from the film festival they played our cartoon and the sound worked fine. We took third prize and a $50 certificate to grand ole Wallmart. I wish I could've seen it on the big screen, but I'm glad they showed it and we got a prize.

I liked it. I always doodled in class. I wish my drawings came to life like that. Also, to answer stupid's question 2 reviews down, A good flash movie (such as this one) probably took about a month or so. A good flash GAME, however, takes much more time and knowledge.
