EDIT2:
the original flash had the memory issue, so I fixed that (I hope) and added the relevant information to the movie, sorry I didn't get around to fixing the voicing, but I'm too lazy :P

EDIT:
I have discovered the reason for the memory overload, it's using too many image files (which I did here)

I hope that this flash will be useful to all flash authors hoping to add wii-support to their movies and games, if you have any questions of any kind, please leave them in a review and I will do my best to answer them, I don't expect this to become something uber-popular or whatever, I just want to be helpful

if you like this, please recommend it for the flash tutorials collection

I don't own a Wii, therefore, contrary to opinions the the first few reviews, I found this useful. The filters will affect me as well as both Chaos Sonic and the BVG, not to mention the big filesizes of both of them. I can get you my sprite tutorial and my newgrounds in flash for you though.

In any case, you breathed too hard into the mic, and you voice presentation was sloppy, but you already had you fair share of people pointing that out, so I will end that here.
I did find 2 things fascinating.
1. Your voice is deeper than I imagined
and
2. I've been miss-pronouncing your name for like--ever.
I'm too used to japanese pronounciation, so I assumed it was (Mee-zox) and not (Mai-zox) like it apparently is. Sorry, hehe.

All and all, nice job.

Author's Response:

1. I actually have a very wide vocal range, that's just the tone I use when I don't want to sound hyper
2. Mike = Meeke?
3. glow can easily be reproduced with screen capture, bitmap trace, and alpha setting
4. I think that there's an alternate blur which doesn't use the flash 8 filters, I'll look into it next time I use flash... EDIT: yeah, mess around with the timeline effects on graphic symbols
5. I think that the flash player decompresses the jpegs into full quality bitmaps, thus saturating the wii's memory, so if you don't want it to do that then you have to trace them, I think...

Script...

and watch your wind pops on the mic. it is usualy best to aim your voice below the mic.

cut out the usless pauses and get the information out quickly and accuratly.

If you are a Wii player make it sound as if you are adhearing to the system requirments, it sounds like you are saying the Wii is a poor system.

Author's Response:

yes, I know I need a script, I don't have much experience with a microphone, and I'm not trying to say the wii is crap, I'm currently typing on one as a matter of fact, it's just that it (and quite a few other devices) use an older flash player version and the issues should be addressed

use audacity to cut out the breathing noises, try to vary your tone more, stop the 'umm's and 'yeah's. It'll probably sound much better, and more professional too. otherwise its pretty good. :)

Author's Response:

I don't know what audacity is, but yeah, I'll use a script next time

Just typing it out would have done just as good on the BBS. Also you could have renderred it into something compatible with youtube and tossed it there. but it was really too long and unnessecary.

Author's Response:

this way more people see it and it makes more of an impression, and besides, I was annoyed about not having any solo submissions, besides, I have no idea whatsoever about youtube or video files, all of the converters I've seen are for XP, I use 2K
