it was pretty funny with the final smash and stuff, but it was too short...
I like what you did, even though it wasn't real great and really short but it's a fun idea and I support people who try. I hope people will give you a better review then your current status.
The idea was good and the animation was smooth
Just wish it was a little longer
I think you should make these battles longer and with more characters perhaps. Maybe more movesets as well.
i didn't give this a whole ten stars because it wasn't long enough, but i doubt it will be blammed, it actually has sound, it's smooth and has a purpose unlike some of the stuff people post here.

Since you are using sprites, it probably wouldn't be too difficult to make it longer. Also, the mouse gets the final smash in like 5 seconds, and there is no percentage keeper things. Keep working on it
This was really well made--almost like some of the really well known users. It should be longer, though. But, since its gonna be a series, that shouldn't be a big problem

Clever idea, but why would the mouses Final Smash be the hourglass? That's a hindrance, not a powerup D:

This was a complete waste of time. You want some contructive criticism? Try making something funny or at the very least, interesting.
The fighting was good and the idea of the mouse VS Mario is cool. Good choice of music it went perfect with the flash.
It was to short and the fighting was really slow. Mario sounded really strange to it was almost like there was an echo behined his voice..
Nice job man, lived the while "Animatior vs animation" bit and you put some work and effort which makes all the difference between a 1 and a 5.
A cuple of things though, it was a bit to short, I can probble see you wanted to get your work onto newgrounds and gtet some feedback, but I think you should add to it and update, you have talent man, and anyone that says otherwise is mad because they'd never be able to produce like this, as short as it was :P
Flash artists all start somewhere, the bad get better while the great get old, just remember that

Wow this is nothing but spam. How did this ever make it through the portal? o_O
There was no storyline whatsoever. And OMG look how bloated and high this score is! At a 3.12? Whaaaa? Oh wait....It's Mario....Well I guess Newgrounds forgives spam if its Mario Related. The animation itself seemed fluid but the movie itself was just waaaay too short. I've seen many high quality cartoons go down the tubes due to the fact that they featured original- non video game related material. Please submit something of substance next time. Something original and stop this nonsense. Newgrounds is going down the tubes due to the unending influx of video game parodies.
Its alright
the only problem is add the damage count, and maybe make some gags with some of the items that drop.
and dont make the smash ball (or whatever its called) come in so early, even though you made its quite cool since it went to the hourglass
i like the animator vs animation kinda thing, but def too short. expand upon this idea and you'll have something good
I thought it was animated fairly nicely, but it's so short that there's barely a point to submitting it.
If you wanted to make matches short, combine them into one movie. I'm sure you have your reasons as to why it's seperate, but... Making movies so ridiculously short is never a good thing.
Now, now. Whilst everyone's getting "Useless review"'d like crazy, no matter what they say, I'd simply like to state my opinion.
It's difficult to tell how much skill you have when you're using sprites, but I must say, you make the same principle error that many other beginning Flash-users do: You really only have 1 or 2 actions happening at the same time. While I realize that multiple actions may confuse viewers, it just seems annoying when one character is moving without the other character reacting.
Also, there was no damage counter or visible damage difference - without these, the SSB feel is lost.
Still, it was better than a lot of the standard stuff that's flung through the portal, as it had okay animation and at least [i]some[/i] sort of premise (as weak as it was). Extremely short though.
This is pretty cool,in fact I kinda liked it.
it was kind of funny but it would be better if you put multiple little fights in one movie, that way it will be a little longer and people wont be wining about how short it is
The smooth movements good, Sprites are in good position, and a final smash for the mouse is a good idea. Although it was definitly too short. I suggest making the next one longer. And possibly some extras in there.

You did not have permission to use Dan's sprites as he clearly stated on his own forum. You had no permission given from Dan and you should take this submission off of newgrounds and remake it using your own or some1 else's WITH PERMISSION.

He has told me countless times that he never gives his sprites away to anybody. I'm a good friend of his and he hasn't even let me use them.
I found this cartoon to be sorely lacking of substance. It did contain fluid animation but the material itself was trite and overused: Mario.
Please move on and try doing something original as this sort of thing has been done to death.
It appeared that you created this in a number of minutes and decided to upload it to Newgrounds as an afterthought - it doesn't even appear like a finished piece. It contains no plot - it is merely Mario punching out a mouse pointer. Perhaps it was your intention of doing a similar cartoon along the lines of "Animator vs. Animation" by noogai. Alas it could be said that due to it being so short , the attempt at parody failed miserably.
You do have some some degree of expertise using Flash so I encourage you to use this expertise on something original or perhaps try animating using your own original hand drawn sprites.
