"Hmmmm"

An alright flash that needs to look a little better.

Graphically it was a little rudimentary, but the illusions themselves looked pretty good. Most of which worked, but some didn't it may just have been my location to the monitor though. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

The music in it, did get quite annoying. Especially the last song for the last 2 illusions on page 1. Need to think about how long the user will be listening to ia song next time,

Overall it was quite good. But needs some work. The illusions were nice, maybe a chance for a sequel??

"Intresting"

There isn't too much of anything new here, most of these I have seen before, but some of them such as the flag one, I haven't seen before. The layout is quite an issue with this I have to say, a solid background to everything would look much better than the gradient background that you had here, it was kind of destracting also the menu and buttons seemed to be a little too simple, some little work there would have been good.

Navigation through the whole thing was pretty simple and much of the instructions where quite clear too. Though at times the text didn't seem to fit in too well and you had squashed it in, maybe have it on the page before an illusion or something, otherwise, pretty decent.

"Interesting stuff"

I like these sort of things and I was glad that there was some stuff here that I´ve never seen before. My favorite was the thing with the flags and the Cyan color, I wish you had added some more of those.

Not all the illusions seemed to work for me though. The flashing square with the dots that you created yourself did not seem to work that well. All I saw were small yellow edges around the dots, but I think those were there already. The reversal thing with the cube didn´t seem to work either, I kept seeing the same cube from the same angle.

As for what to improve, one thing that annoyed me a little was the add that popped up when switching menus. It wasn´t that much of a problem, but it seemed to me like some sort of bug that you just couldn´t fix. Also, the lay-out could be improved a little perhaps. The music was alright. It´s not really what I would call great music, but it was good that it was there.

Overall 7 out of 10, 3 out of 5. I thought it was an interesting submission. I would like to see some more. Keep up the good work.

A very nice collection, I knew most of them already, though (except for those complementary colours). But I'm quite interested in optical illusions, so maybe that's why I already knew most of what you showed here.

I liked the explanations, as optical illusions are more ore less useless if you don't know what's going on and if you don't know WHY our eyes (or our brain) are tricked.

I noticed that the mute button didn't work properly. Every time I went back to the menu the music started to play again. Also on "Color Illusions" and "Cafe Wall Illusion" you chose a different music track. So the music started to play there again, even though I muted it in the main menu.

"Fun to flick through."

Cool that you drew these! I'm used to folk submitting these kinda things with pics they got off the internet.

One point - the flag only works if you look with the flag filling your field of vision. After sitting normally, I just had the square of the flash itself burnt on my retina. Maybe it would have worked better with a black bg? Got it to work when I looked closer though.

I didn't bother trying the remaing flags and the 'true cyan' as I don't want to damage my eyes.

The 'rotating boxes' didn't work for me.

The cube animation was pretty cool.

Everything else I had seen variations of before, but then I do look at a lot of optical illusions.

I also liked your explanations. I should point out that cyan is actually the true opposite to red though.

Good effort.
