Repeat?
Sure, it's an alright game, but it's the same thing as Dx 2 and all the other clones. You just press keys to music, pretty repetitive after like 30 seconds. Not really anything fun about it.

Disapointing
As a stand alone game this appears to be great but when put up next to SC GM2 this quails in comparison.
First of all it seems you have tried to over complicate everything in an effort to be visually brilliant, now for most Genres of gaming Gameplay comes first and graphics comes second after polish, but for the flash end of things, graphics are expected to be high in order to acheive anything with a game.
The gameplay altough at first glance is identical to SCGM2 is actually very different, and a whole lot more complex to the point where it hurts my eyes to play it, you were doing amazing with just two lines of stuff, you have doubled the amount of things you have to keep track of but not improved the amount of fun much, the game is overly complicated to properly enjoy. The things i loved about SCGM2 are almost non-existant here, the ASDF + arrows worked, why would you put it as 1234, and i have found no way to change this altough im sure you can, i have just been unable to find it. The screen is way to wide (in this case high,) in SCGM2 it was all compacted into a nice area, but those of us with high resolutions suffer when you put it up to 4 lines, and we should not have to change our resolutions to enjoy a flash game (which i tried but found it not much better anyway so meh, but other people may see it differently.) Not only that but key hit detection seems much more horribly out of sync than SCGMDx2 i would be hitting all the right keys and hit a bum note or two somehow, or i would hit a string of correct notes i get not reward for, its can't be a keyboard problem because the keys are registering hits some of the time. (not only that but i cleaned my keyboard a week ago and have never had problems.)
Overall compared to the Origional this is mearly worthy to polish its shoes guv'nor.
NOW- As a standalone game its Great! altough it is not something i can play as it hurts my eyes playing this game. it is excellently designed and programmed, the extra features added since the second one are very nicly implemented.
another thing i didn't like was the choice of songs, sounded way to american -gay rock- band type, now i don't mean all american bands are bad, but there seems to be a vocal range very popular with a lot of american band that just make me want to kill the entire human race and start over from amoebas.
Good luck, i hope you read this and if not reply at least take some of what i'v said into account.
I've actually changed a lot less than people think. Yes I moved the arrows onto their own lines because it just makes sense and (as I had a lot of complaints) makes things easier to sight-read (by position, shape and colour). The screen is wider to give a bit more time to see the arrow coming and react.
I don't know what the thing about american bands is though since Verax, Aquila and Eliminator are all British bands and Noise Pollution are Spanish.
Hit detection is the same, the bar is possibly slimmer than SCGMD2 though.
The numbers is just an alternative (if you'd watched the tutorial you'd know where to change those back to letters) that allows people to hold the keyboard like a guitar.
The screen in SCGMD2 was way too small to hold all the extra options and counters so it had to be made bigger.

Amazing!
A little bit tougher, but that's what i like. Sleek new design and more guitars are awesome. A totally excellent *bill & ted guitar move* game!

Woohoo!!
You did the impossible, made a better game than SCGMD 2!!!!
BTW I'm officially the first person to get perfect on all the songs, proof at my userpage!
and the voices sound like Dr. Cox from Scrubs, I was just waiting for him to call me Newbie or something like that!!! xD
Keep It up, can't wait for SCGMD 4!!!!!
