Don't play this, it's old and now makes me feel silly.

Fenton and Boyce have another case. They have to figure out who killed Mr. Zabor. You play the game by using the mouse only. You click to proceed through text, drag a circle to examine things or find a contradiction in a penguin's testimony, and click evidence you think contradicts what a penguin is saying. Some people have trouble completing the game so I made a walkthrough. Don't read it as it isn't fun if you just follow the steps. Anyway. I hope you enjoy the game!

Walkthrough (Don't read unless you really need help)
1) Keep clicking the text and when you ask Basel a question answer with the first or second button.
2) Keep clicking. Talk to the detective. Click More info. Say he did say something weird. Highlight Fish Bridge.
3) Say that he is a witness
4) Spot a contradiction in the second frame. Highlight victim's stomach.
5) Keep clicking. Press the second button when you ask questions. Keep clicking.
6) Examine the bridge.
7) Examine the purple thing on the far left.
8) Say that the cellphone is Basel's.
9) Examine the hat if you want. Click waddle somewhere else.
10) Go to the second frame. Present Fenton's hat as evidence.
11) Say that you think the detective murdered Fenton.
12) Wadddle somewhere else - Bridge.
13) Talk
14) Go to the last frame and present evidence - cellphone
15) Go to the last frame again and present evidence - Flower
16) But so did - Basel (the purple one)
17) Go to the second frame and click explain - highlight accidentally.
18) Click to protect someone.
19) Trying to protect - Kade
20) Now you are on the bridge. Just examine anything and then Kade will appear. (Or you could waddle somewhere else and then click the bridge)
21) Talk
22) Click either responce
23) Present the glove
24) Present the bracelet
25) Select penguin.
26) Select the detective.
27) Watch the credits.

Author's Response:

There was lots of action! Two penguin's died! Also, I don't think it is boring. It's a fun game which needs thought to accomplish the tasks. It's pretty fun.

This game reminded me crazily of Professor Layton, except that there aren't annoying puzzles xD. The graphics weren't great but good enough to understand what you were looking at. The music was probably one of the best parts; it added to the feel every time you were back on track. Very mysterious and awezome!

Author's Response:

Weird. I thought it would remind you of Pheonix Wright. My other penguin investigator game was based on prof. layton. Anyway, thanks for the review! (And thanks for calling the game awezome!)

"Great!"

Really liked the game, however I was too incompetant to beat it. I would have liked a back button to read what was said over again. Very nice interface, although maybe you could have had it so you have to click on the word/phrase you thought was incorrect, rather than drag a circle over it. Otherwise, great game!

April 13, 2008

Author's Response:

You were too incompetant to beat it? Even with a walkthrough?

A back button probrably would be a good idea but I was just too lazy. <_<

For the button thing, it would one, be too much work, two wouldn't allow as many options, and three, I kinda like the dragging implement better than buttons...

Thanks for the review!

I think its great, and funny at the same time, but you should't put the walktrough there, because i was sooooo tempted too look at it.

Author's Response:

Well I was hoping Newground would put a more... button on it and so it wouldn't just be out in the summary.

The whole thing worked out well, and I actually bothered to complete it! I didn't get bored either. Here are a few things you could fix or improve on:

. At one point, two pieces of music were playing at the same time (it happened when I went back after questioning someone)
. Give clues when searching for contradictingness
. The lie detector O & X were a bit confusing

Author's Response:

- I guess I forgot to change it from event to start...
- I unno about clues. You wouldn't really get clues in real life. And also, it's just a bother to program.
- The lie detector wasn't that confusing though was it? It says right under the O and X what it does.
