It was rum, and passing strange by god. It made me long to cast off on my cutter and sail beyond the sunset, to smell again the salty breeze and hear the endless rhythm of the crashing waves against the stern.

I appreciate some random humor. That's how my sense of humor is most the time. I don't know if it was your intention to jump from good animation to poor animation for comedic purposes, but I don't think it necessarily served the humor of the flash. Maybe experiment with focusing on some great artwork and let the humor take care of itself. Also, I think the story gets a little lost in the randomness. The reason why adult swim shows get away with the same sort of randomness is that you still follow the story and there is a final punch to the joke at the end. All in all, I enjoyed it, there is a lot of potential, you take risks, and I'm looking forward to seeing more. Good job.
