It's the New Adventures of Cyberen!
Cyberen is hospitalized due to a severe cervical fracture. When Jhonen Vasquez talked Cyberen out of commiting suicide in a remote icy cave, Cyberen slips and breaks his neck. Jhonen Vasquez carries Cyberen's mangled body back into town. At Cyberen's sad, sad funeral, Cyberen suddenly begins to move; astounding all of the mourners, including the famous Jhonen Vasquez! Cyberen is immediately rushed to the hospital, where he stays in critical condition, because his own family can't even stand him (his own mother tried to poison him twice), he isvisited by his only real family - the people in the small Colorado town who are able to tolerate him (Jhonen Vasquez included). Cyberen is touched by the love around him once he is conscious, and learns that a warm, loving family change any prognosis!
