This movie took about two weeks start to finish, mostly cause I worked on it almost every day and had a lot of fun doing it. It's mostly just fun animation and what, but there're also some interesting ideas here. All these little animals are feeding off each other and living on and in each other, and even though they're strange and disturbing, they're also human in a way. Enjoy this parade of oddness.

Watch the whole thing, plz.

This movie has become more popular than I ever thought it would be :3

EDIT - updated and fixed some of the static and things that weren't lined up right. it looks better now,

Weirdness at it best

I love everything about it, the animation, the music and how it fit well, how the creatures are made, how it doesn't have a plot at all and how well the message pass in the flash XD

...There's one thing missing through, larvea shells @_@

Two Sides

I love the idea of two sides to their world, the blue one is colorful and full of life, like a human city; whereas the deeper red one is mysterious with an ominous aire, like an ancient forest, or a haunted house, you know those places mother tells us to stay away from, yet we don't listen, or at least that's my view

Weird but Awesome

The best part about this flash is that it doesn't have a point (something that all flashes usually have). Although it can be understanded and interpreted with specific knowledge of the ocean (the abyss, twilight zone, and such) the fact that it doesn't make much sense doesn't take away from the quality.

The music is synced in with the flash perfectly, the graphics are great, and once you see the colorful fish swimming above the abyss, you can have your own thoughts on what's going on. Unlike most flashes, this lets you think, while making enough sense on its own.

I really have no problems with this flash. The transitions from the bleak, slow world of the abyss to the colorful, bright world above fit right where they are supposed to. The graphics are extremely high quality, the music is in sync, and the concept of it is vague (a good thing). 10 out of 10, 5 out of 5.

Ansel responds:

yeah, i tried to really enforce the contrast between the world of the huge, slow-moving crustaceans and crabs and things and the blue, high-speed, colorful world above. Interpret that however you want to

anyway, I'm glad you liked it.

Really awesome.

I had a fun time watching this, and I think I was starting to see the human similarities you mentioned as the video progressed. I have the idea in my head, but my review is big enough as is. With the way those little creatures swam and darted around, I was reminded of a jellyfish exhibit I saw at an aquarium years ago. I think the music helped give it that sort of ambiance, too. I always enjoy the more expressive stuff that people submit. You clearly put a lot of effort into this, so I think it deserves a 5-Star rating. Good job.
