"A perfect summary of all Gamer torment"
date: November 14, 2009
I feel the same way. I walk into some of the stores where I used to get my games and see all these crazy insanely high prices and almost immediately walk out. I'm not spending more than $15 dollars on any given game, espacially when I can play 'Frogger' online for free, which, despite it's tedious repetitive nature, is one hell of a fun game. Plus, I can just buy all my favorite classics at a backroad, old gamer's store that sells n64's. I really did find a store like that, and they were selling all their games a great prices. I think you covered the subject really well, but missed one point that I often find irritating about these gouging stores as well, their tendancy to drop merchandise after one or two weeks, only to appear months later as the same high priced 'used' game.
But overall you've effectively called out all the stores who, like monetary vampire, suck all avid gamers dry of their hard earned cash.
