This is something of an experiment for me but I hope that with your help we can make the best of it.

This is my latest creation and it is not quite finished. I would like to open this work up to public and let it grow and expand based on the feedback of the players, what you like what you hate and what you want to see added. With your help we can see just how good this game can become.

Special thanks to David for his awesome music!

It has potential, but could use some improvement.

It's not bad, I suppose. Granted, there were several issues that probably need to be resolved, but this seems to have potential. I'll list the issues that tended to annoy me.
I did note that the damage of your attacks increased every few levels or so, but it was very hard to tell. Perhaps if you included a note when leveling up if your attacks are powered up as well.
As it might have already been noted in other reviews, there is only one moving speed, and the encounters are on a timed basis. That should definitely be resolved, such as with a step-based rng encounter system.
I suppose I understand the reused backgrounds, but it isn't hard to alter them even slightly. Some of them appeared to be reused constantly. Also, it would be nice to hear a different music for the world map in different areas. The same goes for battle music.
Some of the battle animations could use some work. I admit, I like the blade spinner and dark storm attacks Crudus uses, but you could have at least made the void shot and the sharp shot different colors.
Other than that, I liked it. Granted, i'm rather easily pleased when it comes to games, but I can see that this game has some serious potential if you iron out the little nuiances in it.
As a final note, you ended on a 'to be continued' sort of ending. I hope that you make a sequal. It would be interesting to see what improvements you make.

Well, its Okay but...

It made me feel like you just kept reusing maps but putting the portals in different spots... It was plain except for how you use your moves. Also, when you get the extra party member that ONLY DOES 2 DAMAGE, it starts giving you more things to fight in a battle, which did not seem that fair to me. The levels did not add to the damage you do, and you cannot get armor, just health and mana potions. Plus, there is just 1 speed for you to go, so it makes it move so slow to you, and the random encounters are based on time, not steps, so i could just stand in one spot and still get an encounter. Nice effort, just not that nice of a game until you make improvements, if you ever will make the improvements.

Okay, i played this game for about 10 minutes. Keep that in mind while reading this review. This game is not good. Its an EXTREMELY slow final fantasy clone with unneccisarily huge maps (I fell asleep 3 times exiting the city) and very little in the way of originality. The two levels i gained seemed to do a whole lot of nothing and every character up until that point made me feel sick. They're uninspired and lifeless. You can't run, so every movement is a painful crawl at about the speed that paint dries. On the plus side, it had very cute characters (although their names were uninspired) and some sort of interaction with the fight itself (Although pressing 'D' over and over could soon become boring). I'm sorry if i seem overly negative, but thats just the way i see it. After 10 minutes i was thinking about staring at the wall, at least that would be fun. With no hook, and nothing to keep me interested, I wandered off and haven't (and won't) look back. Please don't let this review stop you from playing the game, there could be a real gem hidden underneath there. I just dug for 10 minutes and couldn't even see a sparkle, so I got bored and wandered off.
