It's a big file, but definitely worth the wait.
"Gibson MacReady: The Savior of Funk," has been a long-term project that has finally and suddenly come to fruition. It's our own take on the blaxploitation genre, as told through a familiar religious allegory. It's especially gratifying and surreal for us because we have been sporadically working on this beast for roughly two years.
The animation style is rotoscoping, which meant lovingly drawing, coloring, and shading every frame one at a time. It seemed endless. Now, it suddenly materializes in the form of an injection of mayhem, funk, and humor directly into the bloodstream.
We are Wes and Tony, and our creative forum is AmazingSuperPowers.com, a webcomic that is updated twice a week. "Gibson MacReady" was our very first collaborative project, and now it is here, two years later, bloody as it is funky. If you enjoyed the animation, give our site a glance. We hope you enjoy it.

Notes:
-The "Story So Far" button goes to a short slideshow with voiceover that explains the backstory. Highly recommended.
-The "Skip to the Action" button goes directly to the animated section.
