tale of the love between a forest nymph and a tree. the nymph starts dating the tree then catches a squirrel hanging out on it, becomes jealous and takes things into her own hands.
this was suppose to be longer and have more of a plot but scenes weren't completed by team members so this is it...
I did all of the animating, however fellow team mates came up with the story, designed the characters and backgrounds:
Traci Cook -story concept and backgrounds
Vivien Chen -character design
Ian Caywood- did something but doubt it's anywhere in this short
chris ferracane- did something but doubt it's anywhere in this short
the audio track was written and recorded by my husband Matthew Rivera an amazing Composer and Pianist :) check out some of his other songs he's composed at his myspace--- http://www.myspace.com/ma tthewrivera
added note 3/31/08--- I animated this in 2006, for a college project for Animation Team Production.
that particular class was a two quarter class, first quarter dealt with pre-production, second quarter was of course production... well I latched onto this project in the second quarter phase, I had nothing to do with the story concept or how the characters looked, that was all done by the other team members in the first quarter. I was only supposed to animate the first montage scene, but since other team members didn't do their share I had to animate the tv/popcorn scene and the whole end scene with the squirrel. I pulled off 2 other people's share of work within 2 weeks when they had an entire 11 weeks to work on it. so of course this animation isn't as finished as it should be
