Before you play the movie, please excuse me for the horrible visual quality. I used Camtasia Studio 5 to record this, but I'm literally new to the program, so I have no idea on how to maximize quality whilst minimizing file size (my first attempt was 181mb D: )

This is a basic tutorial on how to make simple songs with FL Studio 6 (works with 7 and previous ones though). Common chord progressions and scales, default samples, and simple drum beats were used here. I didn't record my voice because I'm shy like that, but if I get good feedback and tips on how to improve the recording quality, I might make more tutorials and actually explain what I'm doing. If requested, I'll make more advanced tuts as well.

Effects used: Delay 2, Reverb 2.
Instruments used: Compressed FL Keys, default FPC samples.

Props to MusicalTinker for teaching me the very basics of composition with FL.

I made this tutorial a very long time ago. I'm actually working on a high-quality tutorial, with buttons and my voice in it.

but with these kind of movies it's better if you put in some pause, rewind and so on buttons because i'm trying to do this and it's frustrating just to keep on playing it again and again and again.
So next time, you know what to do ;)

you cant really call it a "tutorial" because your not explaining what your actually doing. However, more experients FL users will kinda get some of the Idea... ok work for a first flash...

I'm fully aware of it. However, newbies can still "imitate" what I did there or learn things that they don't know about (And by newbies I mean first-time users).

Fair vote though. I'll work on an actual tut when I learn how to record properly, mic included.

it takes effort to do something like that. any person who wishes to express themselves though something they made through music or whatever. what he submitted wasnt meant to be enjoyed but rather appreciated for what it is. music. him putting himself in your mercy shows faith. and yet you let this person down by blamming this work because you didnt get to laugh or be freaked out w/e. take it for what it is
