I made this in about a week, and I'm really proud of the outcome! Run through levels and dodge under doors. Destroy walls and avoid spikes, and beat the giant boss. Enjoy! Thanks to FeindishDemon for the platform code. Most of the other scripting I did guesswork on, especially the _root._root. and _root.player.attack (double roots).

Each level was personally tested by me to see if it was possible, and yes it is. Even the boss. Speaking of which, you MUST FIGHT THE BOSS! He's really fun, if a bit hard, and his attacks are sick. When you beat him, go all the way to the left and you'll see a black orb. That's your way out, but if you go there beforehand, it's blocked by a gray thing that kills you if you touch it.
Speaking of the boss, I'd like to take this time to tell you that my inspiration from the boss came from the Artix Entertainment game Deady. Go check it out.
Also, the teeth are sort of ripped from Castle.
Lastly, the claws were sort of copied from Terkoiz's Square 1.

EDIT: Added SFX to the boss, boss battle music, and a preloader. I loved the game so much I just had to keep editing small bits. Also, I edited it so that there's no Zoom In/Out, Play, Loop, etc. button, and better compression, as well as a custom "unbreakable" cursor.

to easy to die

no matter which direction you go in you're bound to lose health for no apparent reason i understand that it was old but i wished you would have maybe tested it for yourself before you published it

The way the damage radius was set on the spinners was completely ridiculous. The graphics were primitive at best. Fairly challenging, tho.

meh

Not the best I've seen. The art is bad, and there are a lot of bugs. One includes the rising platform at the beginnning that doesn't move with you. Another bug is if you hold a movement button and space, you slide on the ground. And another thing. Can you add some indicator to show that the character is actually getting hit? It's annoyign to die without even realising that some spike is stabbing me.

It could use a lot of work, but it's okay. And try not to use someone elses code next time, even if you give creds.

Great

There werent alot of levels and no background, but overall it was great. It ran smoothly the charectar moved acordingly and looked acordingly to the way it moved.
