Boxhead: The Zombie Wars is the 5th game in the series. It comes with new graphics, new enemies (lots of them) and Zombie Wars brings a new feature to the series, now you can construct your own base with turrets and barricades. In this mode you will be required to keep your base operational at all times otherwise the might of the Zombies and there allies will crush you.

Amazing but work is needed!

I like the game so very much but there's a few things bugging me.

1) NO STORY LINE!!!!!!! I know it is risky as said below, but ot bugs me that it's one thing to the other!

2) The beginner mode is still very hard. Try making something like a "Training Mode" that slows enemys' down alot and give alot more time between waves.

Other than that it's good...
I think

And anyways solid 10/10 for the new stuff and a pat on the back. GOOD JOB DUDE!!!

Very nice additions, a bit lacking in environment

Hm, the enemy variety would make the game more interesting if there were more varied environments as well. As of now, those runners end up being really irritating, and the giant swarms of zombies, while fun, are starting to become less fun because of the lack of environment objects. The Boxheads before had some more neat variety, but I do like the graphics. In particular, I like the devil monster because it shapes the gameplay a bit more, since it lets out a nice line of fire now, and it also damages its allies. I think you could stand to add another kind of "miniboss" monster, like some slow moving behemoth or a monster that consumes other monsters to regain its health or strengthen itself in different ways, to vary the monsters a little more. It's pretty cool though, and I like what you've done with the game.

The defense mode is distinctly interesting, since it's actual base creation, and the turrets are fun too. Maybe add a setting for the turrets? Like target dangerous monsters first, or help attack monsters in your area? Well, maybe that would add too much micromanagement.

Now that you've added defense modes and such, I'm wishing for a plot or storyline. That could be a bad idea, but I just feel that it would be unique to use this concept and this design to make a different game. Right now, it seems arcade-y, but yeah, I like it. It's addicting, heh.

Yeah, this is a good game. Exemplary flash skills and a good concept, hm?

And to thecatreturns123, who left a useless review below me, if you feel that the game is "lacking in many" and "it's needs much improvement," you should leave some commentary and actual specifications on what needs to be added. The way you're wording your review, it seems like you're jealous of the author of Boxhead.

huh

It was O.K. Although a great bit of flash, this game was lacking in many. I think it's needs much improvement. I bet you were expecting perfect 10's.
