[UPDATE] I have now updated the movie to its full version, so it has the scene select and music test menus! A very big thank you to Tom Fulp for that!

Wow, this one took longer than expected. At the moment I can't think of anything to say about the episode. I pretty much covered most of it in my blog. There is something I have to regretfully inform you all. This episode doesn't have a scene select or music test menu. With both those in the episode the file size exceeded the maximum upload size of 12 megs. With those menus added it was 12.2 megs total. So I had to cut them out in order for the episode to be uploaded. So, yeah, skipping ahead to the action scenes will probably suck for you all after you've watched the episode fully.

Once again, you can advance the text by pressing the spacebar. I'll probably post my after thoughts of the episode in my blog after this episode has been out for a few days. So I hope you like the episode!

WARNING: The actions can get graphically heavy, so those with slow computers be careful!

Amazing!

I totally agree with the person below me. This flash is just awesome all around. I've been waiting forever for the new episode. I know you are probably busy, but please don't forget about this amazing series you have here!

Unique!!!

Hi KNanakase,
ludas animans is truly the hidden gem on newgrounds. It has all the elements of a GREAT flash: awesome story, character depth, classic sprite animation and a very unique plot. To me this is the best of the best on newgrounds, so avoid thinking it's not popular. Maybe in numbers it isn't popular, but I have read many of the comments and all point to the same observation that your ludas animans world has quite the followers. I bet ludas animans is important to you so I urge you to finish this. We all want to enjoy ludas animans to the very end so don't hesitate to finish this project, it's totally worth it.
Thank you for sharing ludas animans with all of us! :)
Sincerely,
a big fan since 2006.

Good work

this stuff is great! I been looking back at this since 2004 still hopeing your finish the makeing the outher parts for this.

Is this serie still alive?

I'm following ludas animans since 2006 and I must say that I really like its world and plot, but now it has been almost two years since the last episode without any kind of news. I understand that you're working on another project, but it'd be great if you showed a sign of life once in a while, just to confirm that you still intend to finish this serie.

As for this episode, I think it is quite good even if it detracts from the main story line. I only hope that this arc won't be too long considering the time it takes you to make one movie...

KNanakase responds:

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, the series is still alive, but I didn't think anyone was really waiting for the next episode. I kinda thought people were content with the other sprite flash series out there like Super Mario Bros. Z, a series I could never hope to reach in animation quality, story, and popularity.

About not updating my blog on newgrounds, I didn't think anyone read them so I never felt it was a high priority to do. Add to that the fact that I hate talking about myself (because I'm a boring person) or what I'm doing unless specifically asked, and that just gave me another reason to avoid blogging. So, if you want me to blog more, can I suggest giving me an idea of what you'd want me to talk about on a blog entry?

For the other other project I'm working on, it's hard work considering it's an action scene that's over five minutes long so far. If you know me, then you'll know how long action scenes take me to imagine, choreograph, and animate. Especially with sprites I've never animated with before. It took a little while to get used to animating them along with thinking how to manipulate them to achieve certain movements or motions that really lack any kind "hit" move, like a punch or kick. All in all, though, it's coming along steadily. Slow, but steadily.

Finally, for this current arc with Lou and the Goblins; it really isn't an arc per say. I planned to make it just these two episodes and then it's back to the main storyline. Of course, Chris & company won't make it to Atra Kingdom in the episode after that so quickly, but it'll still be on the path to the finale of this story arc.

Phew, I hope that answers all your questions, and I'm happy you like the series.

Till next time.

very nice

It's another great serie. Too bad it takes so long to make. Love it very much. please keep up the good work.
