Seeing this brought up memories of when I started flash in the late 90s. Piqued my interest again to make more work.
Good job and thank you very much for trying to encourage actual work in flash instead of quick, low-quality 'noob' shortcut-type stuff.

Not the best tutorial.
You did explain very basic things, which is very good. However, you did two things which are VERY, VERY bad:
*You explained dragging objects, which will only serve to promote n00b dress-up games
*You did NOT explain a lot of code, which takes out the versatility of the user's knowledge.
